Aside from having the single best name for a food truck(there’s so much a mind can do with that name) they also have excellent food and a great location. The stand is located in a very busy spot on 8th Ave SE and the lunch time line-ups are huge. The buns are toasted in a pretty unique way from the inside out and any condiments are squirted inside in a way that they won’t wind up on your suit. I recommend the Curry Wurst; very yummy…

If you’ve never had the Yodeling Sausage, then you’re missing out. Or perhaps you’ve never had it because the lineups at lunch are so long and you gave up! Trust me — it’s worth the wait. During the summer months, the Yodeling Sausage cart on Stephen Ave is a staple that keeps the locals coming back for more. Run by a nice little Eastern European couple, this place peddles homemade sausages in fresh baked buns with your choice of flavours and toppings. I chose the spicy Italian sausage, which had quite a bit of heat to it, and it was a hot day, so I was sweatin’! They have a special«thing»(technical term) that pokes a hole in one end of the bun just big enough for the sausage, but first they fill the bun hole with toppings like onion, mustard, etc, and then in slides the sausage. This is not a small sausage, either — I didn’t even finish mine and I was stuffed! It’s all rather phallic, but don’t get distracted by that — you’ve got eatin’ to do! For a cheap, fresh made, quality lunch, just head to Stephen Ave and look for the lineup of eager customers!
