Sunridge Badminton

If you are looking for a place to play badminton or ping pong, this is the place to go. Tucked in behind with CDI college in NE Calgary you will find this nice establishment. They boast 12 dedicated badminton courts marked out using the Victor brand badminton court mats and I believe 12 ping pong tables. The facility is nice and clean and the service from the people behind the counter is good as well. Getting a membership here costs $ 30/​year but is not required. Membership does allow you to get discounted drop in rates and allow you to privately book courts. Drop in happens in 3 sessions — morning, afternoon, and evening. They have private coaching/​training available here and a decent little shop on the side for your badminton needs. Grab your racquet, shoes, and shuttles and play!

This large facility has 12 full courts and maybe the same number of table tennis courts. Our teenager is currently attending spring break camp, which features a great coach. We will be back for summer camp. It’s a very nice, newer facility. Courts are available hourly, private coaching is offered, and there are lots of local tournaments for badminton and ping-​pong. What’s really nice is playing on a surface that has lines exclusive for badminton, in a dedicated badminton arena.
