Starbucks

Always fast and friendly service. You know you go there too often when the girl at the window asks where you’ve been when you went on vacation.

Arrived and noticed they had a drive thru which is what I required since I was needing it to go. No need to park. Ordered a hot chocolate. Nothing I normally order however I was craving one. I was asked a few times if that is all I wanted? I thought, if I wanted more, wouldn’t I order more? I was annoyed by that since isn’t that the meaning of a drive thru, to order what you require and go?
The girl who took my order was very snarky. Not sure if she was having a bad day or this is a regular occurrence? I never come to this Starbucks, so I have no idea if she is new staff or just someone who doesn’t like people? Maybe both?
Paid for my drink and got out of there. I will have to say the hot chocolate was lacking. Not only was it Luke warm but it tasted strange. I wish I tasted it before driving off since it was too late to turn back.

What a terrible experience I just had at this Starbucks. After having many amazing experiences at other locations around our city and Canada for that matter. I don’t know if it’s because they are a newer location or not but obviously there is inexperience or just plain laziness at this store. I went to the drive thru window ordered two drinks, they kept us waiting at the window for 10 minutes and I could clearly see inside that they were not busy. When the girl finally opened the window for us to pay she gave me one right drink and the other wrong drink. So after she handed off the drinks and I quickly realize at the window that this is the wrong drink & get her attention, soshe reopens the window I tell her this is not what I ordered and no big deal I’m not mad that accidents happen and it’s just a drink. So anyways she grabs my drink from my hand says nothing at all and proceeds to make me my *correct drink. A few minutes later she opens the window and I realize it’s still the wrong drink. I promise you this was not one of those thousand word complicated drinks. So she grabs it again with force this time I watch her through the window as she empties it then tosses it into the trash super upset. Okay this was a little dramatic and I watch her angrily make my drink hopefully right this time. When she finishes it with no apologies or any words I take it from her and it’s covered! Covered in coffee dripping off the lid overflowing. Well my lovely husband then goes inside where he is greeted by a more polite employee and watches as the other girl who made our drinks run into the back room, the girl working the front apologizes for what happened and says «wow ya that drink looks gross», glad she said so cuz it DID look gross! For $ 10 I’m not paying for shitty service and the wrong drinks. Anyways we got a refund headed to a different starbucks and I got what I wanted the first time;) with much better service and smiles.
