I went to St. Marys University right after High School for two years because I had no idea where I wanted to go with my life, once I figured it wasn’t English or Education I transferred. St. Marys is a really great stepping stone in a way from high school to University due to the small class sizes, small campus populous, and small campus size. If you are a very social person then this school is perfect, their SA creates a lot of events and everyone is very personable and friendly. The teachers are all helpful as well and are easy to communicate with. The location is convenient since it’s close to a train station, but its close proximity to fish creek has resulted in deer running around, and possibly a cougar once(I’m talking about the animal). I haven’t been there for three years so I don’t know what’s changed but I remember a very small cafeteria, not many seating areas, and having to go to UofC’s library for books. I do believe the school was constantly working to improve so I’m sure it’s in good shape now.
