Speakeasy(now called Risqué Rouge) was a designated venue for a competition that my friend was involved in, so I was here three times in the past 1.5wks. Judge me if you want. The address is easy to get to and the parking lot is huge, but as mentioned by Paul G., the name of the building is hidden from the main road. The décor is very well done and classy. I can’t imagine the seating capacity, but it must be several hundred at least. The only food I ate was nachos and they were average. One issue in my opinion is that you may or may not have the same server throughout the evening. If you don’t, consistency with service is lacking and you cannot develop a relationship with the server. I was ripped off $ 5 because one server didn’t want to put in the effort to get proper change and I didn’t make the effort to fight for it. Therefore, I paid $ 9 for Sprite. Someone else at my table started a tab, ended up paying cash to another server for his bill and asked to cancel the tab. Days later, his credit card was charged anyway. The lesson here is to not use a tab and pay attention to how your cash is handled. Another issue I have is the lack of floor lighting. I nearly fell a few times because the stairs are poorly lit, my friend and another person I know each fell once on different sets of stairs and we watched others stumble. It’s dangerous. Both were hurting the next day. I’ve emailed my feedback using the website contact info but who knows if it will be acknowledged. In terms of the weekly adult entertainment Speakeasy/Risqué has to offer, it is subjective and not something I’m privy to. As a venue for watching sports and hosting special events, it’s adequate.
