The Silver Point is a very friendly neighbourhood pub that a lot of locals frequent. The crowd is usually a little older and most likely live in the surrounding Silver Springs or Scenic Acres area. That’s not to say that the place is old school by any means. In fact, they have very lively, young staff that is extremely chill and always friendly. Every once in a while the place will pick up and reach full capacity, mostly on game nights and during Karaōke, but more often than not you are sitting in a quieter pub; one where you can actually hear the conversation of the person you are with! The prices at the Silver Point are moderate. Let’s just say it’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg to get a little happy! Since they aren’t always packed inside, you are quick to receive service and might even make friends with your waitress. A personal favourite of mine is Dano… she’s so cute and always perky! When comparing the Silver Point to their sister bar(see my review on the Point & Feather located in Ranchlands), I prefer the Silver Springs pub because it seems a little livelier. There is always someone sitting at the bar having a drink, or playing the slots machines at the back. You’re more likely than not to meet someone worth talking to!
