Not enjoying this location at all, I’ve just moved to the area and in 10 days, and 4 visits to the new Safeway I’ve purchased both a fruit and veggie platter that was entirely bad, and when I returned them and got new ones the broccoli in the new veggie platter as bad, the rest was good enough but only lasted a few days. Also yogurt that was bad the day before I bought it. And to top it off I just finished chocking on a bunch of splintered chicken bones from a BONELESS pulled chicken dish. Not recommended.

This place has always been clean and quite with a friendly staff. The aisles are always refilled and always fresh. Cakes/pastries in here are a way better in price and quality when compared to other stores. I see many people including me pop in here after see to buy donuts at 50% after 7 pm and they are a real steal deal. There is no compromising in taste though. Bakery is always maintained fresh and clean. They don’t have so many offers/discounts as other stores. Also some items are little pricier. May be that would be the reason for this place not being so crowded. Ease in finding the items at store. This is my daily/weekly place to go for daily/weekly needs. They don’t have much collection in country specific foods unlike Real Canadian superstore etc;

I don’t mind going to this safeway. It’s never usually busy. but they have no butcher and meat department is lacking. I normally go to the one in whitehorn instead.

This location is always great; not too busy, friendly staff and they have great sales in the meat department. I do most of my shopping here because it is close and they have air miles. Pharmacy is faster than the Shoppers Drug Mart that is close by.
