Established in 1998.

Founded in 1998, Rigstar is dedicated to delivering full service communication solutions. We use a systematic and strategic approach to meet any communication requirement. Our team of highly skilled professionals have designed and successfully implemented a number of small and large scale projects throughout Western Canada. We have continued to build on our success as a cutting edge innovator in the communications sector. In addition, Rigstar offers ²⁴⁄₇ integrated monitoring services through our Network Operations Centre (NOC), along with a fully operational World-​Class Data Centre located in downtown Calgary, AB.

Business Owner

Dan Grisdale was an original founding member of Rigstar Communications. Mr. Grisdale has a strong background as an active business professional operating in the public and private sectors, in addition to volunteering in the not for profit organizations in Calgary and Western Canada. In his role as CFO of a TSX listed company he successfully completed an IPO of over $ 35M. Dan obtained his B.Sc. degree from Arizona State University.
