History

Established in 2001.

Red Nik Surf Co opened it’s doors on April 1^st 2001. We were a small 945 Sq Foot store that had all the surf brands and Swimwear as well as Surf Boards and we were the 1^st store to actually start the Long Skateboard craze in Calgary.

In the Spring of 2003 we added another 1000 Sq Ft as we took over the stall next door and increased Brands and stock and staff.

I the Spring of 2010 Red Nik Surf Co introduced Standup Paddleboards to Calgary by bringing in Starboard and Naish SUP. We now carry 7 Different brands of Standup Paddleboards with exclusives on 5 Brands. We have the most knowledgeable SUP staff in the city and great packages.

During the winter months we are all about Swim and Cruisewear and always have a great selection as well as Fall and Winter Casual Clothing.

The Red Nik Surf Co motto is always get our great customers what they want and we strive to do this as much as possible with GREAT customer service and our friendly staff.

Business Owner

Bill started Red Nik Surf Co and brought 25 years of retail and surf experience to the store after managing a few retail clothing stores and managing and part owner of a mountain bike store. Warren Schlivert is the current manager and brings another 25 years of retail experience in all areas of outdoor recreation.
