Pooches in the Park — Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Calgary North & South is a small owner-​operated pet care company. Your dog’s care is a partnership that we take seriously. Your dog will enjoy the exercise, socialization and attention we shower our own dogs with. Dog walking and pet sitting north and south Calgary is where we concentrate our efforts to supply you with a convenient, affordable option allowing you to free up important time in your busy schedule. Pooches in the Park goes that extra mile, so to speak, to make sure that your pet has a stress free, low pressure walk to take care of his/​her business while you take care of yours.

History

Established in 2009.

After many years in the corporate world, we decided to start a pet care company so we could share our growing passion for all things dog.

I (Trish) currently have a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog and an 18 month old St Bernard who travel with me and love to play with all the dogs in our packs. Susan is the #1 dog sitter in my opinion. She has been my personal dog sitter for the past 6 years. She has the experience to deal with senior dogs who need medication as well as puppies who need extra love and attention. We have both attended a pet first aid course and have also done extensive reading on dog behaviours and training techniques. Although we do not profess to be professional dog trainers we will go that extra mile, so to speak, to make sure that your pet has a low pressure, stress free adventure. We keep our packs small so your pet will still receive individual attention and we are able to report back to you on how they are doing while in our care. We also like to carry our cameras around and snap photos of the pooches enjoying their park adventures which we will share with you on our facebook fan page.
