Bernard is the first of the Callebaut family to pioneer the creation of handmade pralines. With a dedication to quality, and innovative craftsmanship, Bernard has become renowned as a Master Chocolatier, and made his vision a reality — focused always on the balance of taste and style.
Fellow chocolatiers, chefs and gastronomes around the world revere him. Having brought worldwide recognition to his craft, many accolades have been bestowed upon him including the «l’Ordre Internationale de la Grastronomie Francaise». The French Government awards this prestigious honour to individuals recognized for outstanding contribution to the culinary arts. Bernard is the first North American to be bestowed this honour.
