Last weekend I made a brief appearance at Opus. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I had a really great time. The music was great, as was the crowd. A lot of approachable and friendly people, all in a warm and welcoming environment. The food was delicious and I appreciated the fact that the bouncers were as equally friendly to men as they were to women.

Some of the best music in town and one of the few places where you can get booths and bottle service Las Vegas style. On Mondays they have bottles for $ 100. A great place for a night on the town and always with beautiful girls.

I don’t know if I would go here to go «clubbing,» but the food is amazing. Great chef.

$ 10 cover? I don’t think so. This place was super small, and on a Friday night if it was not for the group of 40 people we rolled in with, there would be no one in this place. Okay, I can’t be so harsh this IS Calgary after all… I mean there was your fair share of guys who looked too casual and then your typical Christian Audigier wearing men(which I may add that CALGARYYOUHAVEPLAYEDOUTCHRISTIANAUDIGIER!!), and the girls well I mean girls were wearing flip-flops in a club? hmmm where I’m from thats unheard of unless its a dive bar somewhere near the beach. For a city that has an incredible economy right now, I expected people to dress better. PS. best time to go to Calgary, where the city comes to life is during Stampede in the beginning of July.
