History
Established in 1990.
The additional training our chiropractors and physiotherapists gained by working alongside specialists such as spinal neurosurgeons gave them the expertise to provide leading edge conservative treatment solutions.
Our team enables patients to pursue the most effective and non-surgical treatment options. To the benefit of patients, this streamlined and integrated treatment allowed National Spine Care to evolve into a true multidisciplinary clinic.
Our current health care team includes chiropractors, physiotherapists, Acupuncturists, a pain specialist physician specializing in pain relieving injections and prolotherapy, massage therapist and a rehabilitation specialist.
We help people get out of pain and then work with them to teach them what they can do to help themselves. Once you are out of pain, the focus shifts to preventing future problems. We help you become independent in the management of your health to continually improve your health so you can do the activities you love
Meet the Business Owner
Dr. Gord M.
Business Owner
Dr. McMorland is a chiropractor, currently in private practice in the city of Calgary. He is owner and director of National Spine Care. Gord obtained his chiropractic training from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1990. He is also board certified with the American Board of Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialists. He is a published author of both scientific research articles and a self-help book on back pain management. In addition to private practice he has serves as:
* Adjunct Professor — Faculty of Graduate education and Research at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College
* Team Chiropractor, National Sports Centre at the University of Calgary for the Men’s Gymnastics Program.
* Chiropractic associate: University of Calgary Spine Program: Faculty of Medicine, Division of Neurosurgery
Outside of private practice, Dr. McMorland has also served on the board of governors for the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario Canada.
