M & M, how can I go on now? Taking away my precious fire roasted chicken burgers? You have really done it now; just place that dagger further into my heart, yes, twist it too… I am numb to the pain:(… I don’t even know you anymore. How could you do this to me? To us? I am at a loss for words… Commencing ugly sobbing– uncontrollably so.

Stopped in to lovingly grab some of my fave items — I had not been to one of these stores since Ontario-living which would have been 9 months ago or so. M & M’s I have missed you so when I am just not in the mood to make my homemade 13 layer lasagna! When you lasagna goes on sale especially, it is cheaper to buy yours than to make my own. You just cannot make it for $ 7.99. I am normally not a fan of pre-packaged goods, excess sodium or preservatives but I must say these guys do a pretty good job and I think they have their customers’ best interests at heart. The only thing I am not a fan of is their steaks but that is personal opinion. I find they taste too processed but the chicken breasts are great and a box of these goes on sale often. The breasts are very versatile and can be made into anything. When things go on sale, you can purchase 3 of the same things.(per customer) This particular day last week when I popped in, the owner happened to be working, This place is clean. He took pride in his store and in turn, I felt pride for my new hood and for taking the time to check this place out. I bought around $ 75 worth of goodies that will last us a couple of weeks. I have my faves — coconut shrimp, stuffed chicken breasts(no breading — NEW) French Onion soup, meat lasagna, individual micro meals for lunches, garlic bread, and pizzas(Buffalo chicken, thin crust but no whole wheat though :(). The owner was patient showing me the 34 new items the store has, was knowledgeable about eats and very easy to talk to. He just loved food as do I and I would go back hoping that he was working again. They do discontinue some things here and there like the Naan bread(WHY, WHY?) so if you find something you love, it is best to stock up. (I have edited this review on 2014 and there are a couple of new stand-out employees that are great, very service-oriented.) No samples today as the owner said he loses too much money on weekdays which is understandable. Another pet peeve of mine is wasted food so, good call. The place gets a lot more traffic after 4pm when people are headed home from work so try to pop in if you can on a weekday before that time and avoid weekends! The sales are good and I love their colourful easy to scan with the eye flyers!
