I’m writing about one certain lady staff member at this particular Lenscrafters that really ticked me off this morning! I went in for a simple change of screws on my glasses as the screws on the lenses kept popping out every day for the last 3 months. I haven’t had time to get them fixed. I finally found time today but instead, got a condescending speech from the lady who was assigned to fix my specs. I was a bit ticked off ‘cos she started to lecture me on how to take off my glasses and how to treat my glasses. Me, who’s worn glasses since she was 7! I don’t need any lectures on how to take care of my glasses. All I needed was screws to be changed on my glasses. She assumed that I wanted to change the screws on the arms of my specs. I don’t know why. She thought ‘cos the arms on my glasses were shaky so she assumed that that was the reason I was at the store! She never even asked me properly. Finally, she understood me and promptly changed the screws that held my lenses. Gosh! Is it so hard to understand English? Methinks you have to take up customer service lessons again as the customer is always right!

This is THE LensCrafters! The staff are all so helpful and friendly. I went to the one at Crossiron, way too busy, 10+mins not even being acknowledged. Northland LensCrafters, however, they make you feel so comfortable and welcome at this store. I got a pair I absolutely love. Definitely recommended!

Yeah, I’m a fan! I’m always pretty happy whenever I go to this place… probably because I’m leaving with new glasses or I had them fix the crookedness. I need to buy new glasses about every year or so, because my prescription changes or they brake or fade, and Lenscrafters is always the first place I head. Maybe that’s because they always have pretty good sales and when they don’t, I’ve more likely than not received some sort of promotion in the mail. I like the deals, since glasses can be quite a financial burden. I’ve always found a great pair of glasses at Lenscrafters and can usually walk out of the store with them in just over an hour. That’s the great thing about them. Most of their lenses can be made right there in the store so it doesn’t take long. Of course, some are too special and need to be sent out. My only complaint about Lenscrafters is that they wouldn’t put new lenses in my old glasses. Because they were a plastic frame, and over a year old, they wouldn’t assume responsibility for them and if the frames were to break while putting new lenses in, I wouldn’t get another pair. That sucked because I couldn’t afford new ones at the time. I do like all the people there, though. They are extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. My favourite thing is that they all have funky glasses on. My thinking is, why would I buy glasses from someone who doesn’t wear them? I wouldn’t want to get my hair cut by someone with a nasty cut and colour… so why buy glasses from someone glassesless? All-in-all, mostly great experiences with Lenscrafters, so next time I’m in need of new ones, I know where I’m going!
