Hunter Douglas

Hunter Douglas’ Calgary location is set up for dealers and installers as a gallery and resource centre. They have a sizeable showroom with all of their products on display so you can see what the options are and how they operate before going out to sell or install them.
I recently came here for some training. They brought in an installer from their Brampton head office to take us through three different products. For each product there was a discussion in the classroom area and then a hands-​on section in the warehouse where we could assemble and install each blind in a mock window.
For $ 30 the training was great. The instructor was knowledgeable and very helpful and it was an excellent forum to meet other installers and share some tips and tricks that we’ve each learned in our experience out in the field.
