Great hotel in downtown Calgary. I had some fairly bad experience from other Fairfield Inn Suites and I thought I would never try another one until I found this one. The room is clean, decent size, and fairly modern. The free breakfast is typical not bad. Free wifi but no on site parking only valet or street parking(see my tip for the parking). The main complaint is that the elevator is a bit slow especially when I need to get to the 10th floor.

It’s a little bit out of the downtown core but still a walkable distance away. The front desk staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room with a king bed was small but had everything I needed; including a mini fridge and microwave.

Great little hotel that is convenient to downtown Calgary, 17th Avenue, 4th Street dining and shopping areas. Parking is the only downside but their valet service is outstanding. The breakfast is the typical quick, free hotel breakfast. Not great, but it will work for a quick morning meal. For a good breakfast go downstairs to the Beltliner Diner. Excellent coffee and breakfast at the Beltliner. The room was new with comfortable beds, a pull out couch in a sitting area, and a well appointed bathroom. WIFI is free and the elevator is slow. Compared to hotels in the downtown core, this place is a bargain.

Room 406 /suite with2 Double beds. Stayed for two nights in November 2015. Great clean, modern style room. The breakfast area is large, clean and well cared for by the staff. All staff including front desk, valet, housekeeping and maintenance are courteous and helpful. The Wi-Fi is reliable and of a average speed where I could email attachments(6meg) without much difficulty. The heating system worked very well. I was impressed at the quality of the accommodations at this location. As a side note there are several good restaurants within walking distance as well as ‘The Beltliner” which is on the lower level of the property.

Great new clean property. I was in room 1010, this room has two double beds, amenities were fair, ample room, actually the rooms were quite large for a new property. I didn’t have the opportunity to check out their complimentary breakfast, but i did go down to get my coffee and took a sneak peek and it’s your typical Marriott branded breakfast. It’s in a great location and I’d definitely go back to this property given the opportunity. Thanks Marriott for placing a much needed value property in Calgary!

I can’t believe there are no reviews for this lovely hotel yet! We stayed here for one night, before switching to the Ramada hotel and regretted leaving the Fairfield Inn. They have valet parking for $ 25 per day, but just across from them is a public parking lot. We got two days(maybe it was one day, i dont remembrr exactly) parking for less than $ 11. You literally just cross the street, and can see the hotel from the public parking lot, so I’d recommend using it. The hotel is new, so there isn’t any visible damage yet(I hope it stays that way). We booked a king room, as all other rooms were booked. I checked the bed and room; no bed bugs. The bathroom was very spacious, and clean. There was shampoo, conditioner, body bar, and a facial bar. One reviewer on the booking site I used complained about the hotel not providing shower caps. I travel with mine always, and don’t know why you’d count on a hotel to provide that. There was also a microwave, and mini fridge. Our bed was very comfortable, and clean. The view was awesome, and breakfast was included. I wasn’t expecting much since again, there was complaints about it on the booking site. I was surprised to find out the breakfast buffet had EVERYTHING! Plus it was delicious. Muffins, waffles, bagels, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, fruit, milk, juice, coffee, yogurt, sausage, and more! What the heck do those people who complained about it have for breakfast? Everything was being replaced once it was finished, and was fresh. Do NOT go down last minute like my mom did. It got so busy! There was huge line ups for everything. I loved it, and believe it was a very generous breakfast, especially since it’s included with the room. The security was also great. You need a room key to use the elevator, and there’s a camera in the elevator. There was a room partying with their door open, so I went to the front desk and complained. The woman was very understanding and let me know they will get one warning, then kicked out if they don’t settle down. Luckily, they settled down so things were quiet for the rest of the night. My only complaint is the air conditioner. I love and appreciate that I can control the temperature, but it wouldn’t turn off. It was on all night and we got really cold and woke up several times. I kept waking up a lot, probably from the air conditioner and my mom’s snoring combined. This hotel is 100% non smoking, and does not allow pets. We will definitely be back when we visit Calgary again, and I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants great customer service, a clean hotel, and a amazing breakfast buffet to go along with it.
