After countless years of dancing, Katreena remains a passionate and energetic performer and choreographer. She continues to teach a diverse variety of dance forms and is proudly continuing to embrace her Latin Brazilian Heritage, with her own dance company Estrela’s Do Samba Dance Company, carrying on the legacy it provides through a diverse range of Brazilian dance styles such as Samba de roda, Axe, Lambada, Afoxe, Parantins, Samba Reggae, Frevo, Forro in addition to Samba. Specializing in Brazilian «Samba no Pé», and with a significant knowledge and experience in other Latin Dances, dance fitness programs, and Bellydance today she continues to bring her passion and energy on stage; and teaching experience to every project she tackles. With Estrela’s Do Samba Dance Company and the continued support of Havana Cuban Dance Studio, Katreena wants to influence the growth and development of Brazilian Samba throughout Calgary.
