Delta Cab

Terrible. Ordered a cab to get to the airport. We were told 10 minutes. 15 minutes later I called to get an update, two blocks away they said. Another 5 minute passes, nothing, call back. Oh oops «something» happened they had to dispatch another cab. I ended up cancelling all together. This is exactly why other cities welcome über!

Waited two hours for our taxi and when we would call asking where it was we got hung up on. Awesome.

Wish I could give them a zero.
We were stranded during the floods and had to call a cab so we could evacuate our apartment building. Unfortunately we called delta.
We were assured we’d get a pet friendly car, but when ours arrived he yelled «no dogs» across the street. We told the driver we were being evacuated and he gave us the finger, drove off and told us to «let our mongrel drown».
So we call them back. They couldn’t find the driver but would send us another cab.
An hour goes by, no cab. We call again, we’re told that it’s mandatory for all cabs to take dogs, but some drivers won’t (so. .we can drive ourselves?).
Just stupid. They lie and leave people in need stranded. Don’t give them your money.

Conversely to Tiffany,
I feel the opposite. I took a cab earlier this week and the cab driver proceeded with the usual string of creepy questions that cab drivers continue to think are appropriate then launched into sexual jokes and innuendos.
«Do you have a boyfriend?»
«Do you live with him?»
«Has he found your G-​spot?»
Hearing silence from me he then said,
«He needs magic fingers or a tongue like a lizard to reach it.»
Thanks, creep! I won’t be riding with Delta again. I felt unsafe and concerned that he knew where I lived. That guy should be fired.

I called Delta cab on Saturday night (Halloween party) 12:10 AM. I knew all cab companies were busy (associated cab and checkers) so I called Delta cab. First, it rings many times before someone pick up the phone. Then the guy took my info and tell me it’ll take 1h… Fine. I asked him if someone will call me before they arrive and the guy said yeah of course. I kept my cel phone on me with vibration just to make sure I dont miss the call. At 2:00 am… (2h later) no phone call so I called back and they say the cab is on its way… THEY NEVER CALLED BACK. Thanks Delta cab!!! Read other reviews on internet and everybody had the same problem. I wish I had read these reviews before calling that shity company.

Dear Delta Cab Ltd.,
Thank you for stopping and letting me in to your cab, last night, even though you already had a fare. You were taking two girls to Cowboys at around 12:15 last night on 11^th Ave and 6^th St SW, and I had just been attacked and was running back to the bar I came out of. You probably saved my life.
Thank you to those two girls who let me in to their cab and offered to let me come to Cowboys with them in case I didn’t have anyone at home to go to.
Thank you to the driver, who calmed me down and reassured me after I collapsed in to sobs while trying to call friends and family to tell them what happened. Thank you for waiting outside my door, until you saw that I was safely inside my house.
