I just moved into this neighbourhood and am so happy that there is a corner store still operating. Actually, there are a few around but this one is open a bit later, which means more convenience!
I needed some mix, and in a pinch this corner store had what I needed. there is a small selection of soda but they have the bases covered for standard drink mixins. They even carry some tetras of juice which is handy — both for drinks and for an impluse saturday brunch at home. I didn’t look around to much at what else they had to offer but I will be back to find out.
The owner was super friendly, very chatty and approachable, even introduced himself when I said I was new to the neighbourhood. I love mom and pop shops and I hope places like daylight grocery survive.
Open until 9 on weeknights, closed on Sunday.
