Clippers N Suds

This place is an awesome place to go for grooming your dogs and especially for a cheap wash. The self wash is awesome and they provide everything you need in order to clean your pet without getting wet. The staff is extremely friendly from front to back and it’s an overall pleasant experience. Most importantly it is affordable for the great service you are getting and it is in a very convenient location!

What a wonderful place! I brought my dog here straight from the dog park after she rolled in something gross. The staff were amazing and so helpful. They helped me get my dog in the tub and secured. They supplied a smock to keep me dry, the shampoo, conditioner, ear cleaner, towel, blow dryer and brushes. They even handled the cleanup! The price was very affordable as well.
I could tell that they truly love dogs there and even though I can bath my dogs at home, I would still come to Clippers N Suds for the convenience of not having to clean my bathtub after or wash towels. Thank you ladies!

We’ve used this place for both the self wash stations and getting our dog groomed. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. Our dog came out looking beautiful! Her fur is very thick and long and I was really pleased with how they groomed her. Usually the groomers can be a tiring experience for her as it takes a while for her to get groomed but at Clippers and Suds she didn’t come out drained like she has in other places. She was smiling for the rest of day and was super happy!

My first time here and my beautiful pooch & I did a self wash. I have a bad back and can’t handle washes in the bath at home anymore. The cost was very reasonable.
I can’t believe how helpful the staff was and how many supplies were included! I am sure we will become regulars now that we’ve discovered this gem!

Outstanding! I do not, and will not, bring my dogs (or my client dogs) to any other grooming or self wash place. Clippers ‘N Suds is clean, friendly, and staffed with the most amazing people. They are kind and compassionate and will bend over backwards to help accommodate you and your pouches. They are knowledgable and passionate about proper dog and cat grooming and overall care. I cannot express enough how amazing this place is! Experience them for yourself, whether it be dog/​cat grooming or using the self-​wash tubs, and see how incredible they are!

The person who usually grooms my dog was booked up because she‘s on vacation in September. I was worried that my dog wouldn‘t do well with a new groomer, as he is anxious if I‘m not around, and has a strong aversion to water, especially in bath form. I took a chance based on my positive experience getting my dog‘s nails clipped at Clippers N Suds.
My dog was HAPPY when I picked him up. Not just excited to see me, but he walked home with a big smile. There was no acting out (once he peed on a rug because he was pissed off we took him to the groomers). He wasn‘t mad, anxious or anything but HAPPY when I got home. He looks great too. Maybe I‘m biased but he‘s adorable.
Tannis was friendly and best of all, she likes my dog! I know my dog hates baths and the dryer, but she told me he was good, particularly for the grooming though he does not like the dryer. LOL. That‘s putting it nicely. I also know he whines in a very high pitch chirps when I have to leave him there but when I asked, she just smiled and said he was good boy. The other employee in the back was very nice and said my dog was a real cutie.
It‘s a huge relief to find a groomer that takes good care of my dog. It‘s a good feeling to have knowing that the people grooming my dog like him too. Thanks Tannis! We will be back.

Pet owners who care… beware!
We’ve taken our dog to Clippers N Suds 2x. The first time, while we didn’t necessarily like his cut, our dog was fine after and the staff seemed nice. The second visit however was a significantly different result and very similar to Steve J’s review, also on this site. Shortly after the 2^nd visit we noticed our dog has since behaved much differently — visibly scared, shaking, agitated, and behaving much differently than his normal friendly and relaxed self. The cut itself is uneven and so short in places his skin seems raw and irritated.
We followed up with the staff to see if there were issues. The behaviour /​attitude from the staff was a complete 180 from the nice /​friendly staff we experienced the first time. They tried to pass blame to us, commented that our dog was «mad» (he never gets mad) and that they called us b/​c of his behaviour. Neither my husband nor i received a call or let alone a missed call. We also had a perfectly «potty» trained dog and have since issues with him not wanting to going to the bathroom… this is a total mystery to us.
We had previously taken our dog to Pet Smart and were always happy with the treatment of our dog and the service that was provided. Give the location of Clippers N Suds and that we like to support locally owned shops, we thought we would give them a try. However given what we suspect was extremely poor treatment of our dog we will never return to this shop.

It’s always fun living in an apartment building and bathing your dog! It’s never a fun task and our boxer is not a fan of it. I wanted to locate a place that I could wash him after he would get all messy from the dog park and I finally found the place!
It’s very close to our house and the hours are quite convenient.
There are 3 large tubs for use and come equipped with dog restraints, slip preventing mats and a nice long hose. They also provide the shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and towels! The best part … you can leave your mess behind as they clean up after you! How great is that???
There’s also a grooming salon where you can leave your pet to be groomed.
I love the loyalty program and the staff are very friendly.
