Established in 2002.

Canterra Dental was founded by Dr. Dennis Leung and has been focused on providing general dental services to downtown Calgary patients since 2002. Since we are located close to Princess Island and Eau Claire Market, we are very conveniently accessible to those who work and live in the general vicinity.

We are a downtown Calgary dentist located right in the Devon Tower (across from the Shell Building, Eau Claire Market, Ernst & Young Tower and Centennial Place).

Our General Dental Practice is right on the +15 level at the top of the escalators.

Business Owner

Dr. Dennis Leung took over as the owner of Canterra Dental in 2002 when the Devon Building was still Canterra Tower. After purchasing the practice he has since completely renovated and modernized the practice.

Dennis has always loved working with people and especially with his hands. He was also especially good at the sciences and was looking for a way to bring his three passions together — this ultimately led him to dentistry. Additionally he especially enjoys cosmetic dentistry as it allows him to express his artistic side by giving people the beautiful natural smiles they have always wanted.

Growing up in Hay River, NWT he found the small city too small and as soon as he graduated high school he headed for the big city to study Microbiology at the University of Calgary. He then continued on to the University of Alberta and received his doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta in 2000.
