Calgary Co-op Wines & Spirits

I am not a «drinker» per say, but I use a lot of wine and beer in my cooking (I’m Czech) and they always have a nice selection of Czech beer (Pilsner Urquel, Krusovice, Baron, Zatec, etc…) and I really appreciate that.
It is also nice to see that they support the local economy by stocking local craft beer like the great guys from Toolshed. All in all, when I need to make a risotto or Czech Goulash I stop here to grab what I need.

Prices are excellent. Atmosphere is nice. Beer selection is astounding. Wine selection is good. Spirit selection is good. Some of the staff are knowledgeable all are friendly and helpful. 90% of our wine, beer & spirit purchases are made here.

Amazing selection!
This Co-​op Wines & Spirits store is HUGE, and stocked full of a variety of wines, spirits and beer! They have wines organized by country, which makes it easy for you to find what you’re in the mood for. Prices are very competitive, so chances are your will find your favourite wine cheaper here than at other stores. I have found all my favourite wines here at really great prices, and have always left happy!
My favourite parts about Co-​op though are the weekly specials. They have their ‘Specials’ scattered all over the store, and also near the cash, so you can’t miss them. I’ve gotten some solid deals on the Red Velvet Cupcake wine, and the Naked Grape wines.
Their beer cooler section is awesome also! I have found some really unique beers here which I thought were only found in the smaller boutique liquor stores!
If you have even the slightest affinity towards great wine or great beer, you will be a kid in a candy store at this Co-​op!

This place has the widest wine selection I’ve ever seen.
It also has pretty much anything else you could possibly want.
Staff knows their products and are helpful too.
