As predicted, become a regular and they treat you real good! Now I get an extra piece of french toast every time I come in. Still cheap and good.

Awful… really, really awful. The place is sad and run down. No menu– just pictures and prices of the food they offer… plastered all over the windows and walls. One dish to an 8.5×11 sheet of paper and slipped into a plastic protector and slapped up onto various vertical surfaces around the place. So it is very difficult to figure out what they offer and what you want to order. The pictures of dishes starts at the door– is on the window, some on the wall near where you order… it is a disaster. When you get to the ordering counter, it does not seem that cleanliness is a priority for the ladies who are running the show. The restaurant was not busy(it was lunch time mid week). There was one other customer who ordered food while we were there. After about 20 minutes, a woman brought out my father’s burger. We then waited for another 10 or 15 minutes for my mother’s dish to come. And then another 10 or 15 minutes for my food to be delivered. As far as I could tell, they cooked one dish at a time. Being that I was a guest of my parents, who insisted I try this place(they had only been once before for breakfast) I ordered the Beef Satay War Wonton.(were I to have wandered into this place on my own, I would have walked out without ordering anything) What I was served was a bowl of tasteless noodles, topped with blobs of unseasoned ground pork encased in overcooked wonton wrapper. The wontons didn’t look like anything I have ever seen called a wonton before– just blobs. There was some very greasy, slightly spicy beef strips, 2 pieces of broccoli in a grease based«broth». It was disgusting. Every bite was encased in grease. The«Billy Burger» my father ordered(expecting this would be their«signature burger») was nothing more than a plain, pre-fab, frozen, beef patty(the cheap kind that seems to have been pressed with possibly some organ meat), on a bun. It was served with a slightly sticky squeeze bottle of ketchup and french fries. I had to go to the counter to ask if they had any mustard. My mother was very pleased with her«hamburger steak», which seemed to be actual ground beef, fried potatoes and two eggs. Seems they manage breakfast if I take her word for it. With the vast array of dishes they indicate they offer, I am not sure how they manage to maintain the inventory required without it going bad before it is ordered. Having now looked up the health inspection records of the place, it seems they have a record of ignoring the recommendations of the inspectors. On the plus side, the whole meal including 3 cans of coke and a chocolate milk came to $ 24. Which seems an amazing price to feed 3 people in a restaurant– but it was not worth $ 24. I will never go back.

Enjoying the hamburger steak and eggs. The patty appears to be homemade and is a great value at $ 5. Its a greasy spoon for sure but I will be back to try their WOR won ton.

Its cheap and fast. The food isn’t amazing, nor is it terrible. They serve burgers as well as Chinese food. A lot of it is probably not that good for you, because I have a feeling most of it is pan fried or deep fried. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here, but its close to my work. And unfortunately, this part of town doesn’t have many options for quick, cheap lunches.
