Used to go to the old location under the same ownership. Place has gone down hill of late. Lots of Chinese oils that appear to have been marked up unfairly. ArtSense just down the road has a better selection and is fairly priced.

Apparently this place is notorious in our city and I had NO idea. They’re known for being one of the best art gallery stores in town and now that I’ve been deflowered, I can see why.
Carrying works from an impressive assortment of artists, I can honestly say that I haven’t seen so many different artists featured in one place at one time (not in Calgary anyway).
The store is categorized according to artist and as you make your way around the store, you find yourself traveling through the domains of each individual artist.
Boasting paintings, photographs, steel sculptures and the option to custom frame pieces on-​location, Avenida Art Gallery is leaps and bounds ahead of other places I’ve seen in town.
The service is attentive and friendly, without being overbearing and intrusive.
I fell in love with a dozen different artists, a dozen different times.
I’m tellin’ ya: As soon as I get that mansion, I’m buying this store out!
