Well, my continuing quest to find the cheapest, best Brazilian wax in the city doesn’t end at Stacey’s Hair Design. They don’t do Brazilian waxes. Their waxing is focused mostly on the easier places… and not for very cheap either.
An eyebrow wax will cost you $ 13, where most other salons will do it for around $ 10. They also do upper lip, chin, armpits and legs. I think I’d rather go somewhere else and pay a little less. When you have waxing done every couple of weeks, it needs to be a reasonable price in my books.
Their cut and colour is pretty standard for a god salon. $ 100 will get medium-​length hair a wash, cut, high or lowlights and a style. That’s pretty normal.
The ladies who work in this salon seem to be a bit more edgy than most others. When I walked in and asked if they do Brazilians they looked at me as if I was crazy. Then when I asked about other prices they seemed peeved that I was asking and not just having it done. Not the friendliest people I’ve experienced, but not the worst either.
I suppose it’s nice for the people of Hanson Ranch and lower Hidden Valley to have this salon nearby, since there are only a couple in the vicinity, but I think I’d rather go elsewhere for a cut/​colour or waxing of any sort.
