I cannot find the words to express how grateful I am that I stumbled across the website for Miller’s when my mother and I had to make the final arrangements for my brother after his sudden death. From the very first phone conversation I had with Mark — from the car, as we drove in from Montréal — he was so incredibly understanding, compassionate and accommodating. They were already closed for the day, but he came back to meet with us, knowing we had limited time. Mark was so sincere, it was comforting to know that he genuinely wanted to help us through this difficult time. He did not try to sell us anything or push us to spend money on expensive services we did not need… In fact, since we were having my brother cremated, he suggested we wait until returning to Montréal to choose an urn, so that we would be able to make a choice when we were less emotional. My brother was on disability and Mark also told us about a government program that covers part of the funeral costs for people on disability. We never would have known about this had it not been for him, and his insight saved us a significant amount of money. I would highly recommend Miller’s to anyone who has to use a funeral home. This family-run business provides the type of top-notch service that is reminiscent of the old days: When people took pride in their work and genuinely cared.
