Heavensound is a full service studio offering a recording space ideal for solo artists, bands, small ensembles and voiceovers. Available services include recording, mixing and mastering, song writing, arranging, music production, vocal production and commercial audio.

History

Established in 2009.

In 2009, recognizing a market for high quality recording on an indie budget, Kibwe Thomas built HeavenSound Recording Studio.

Since it’s opening, Kibwe has produced and engineered projects for corporate and musical clients including BlackBerry, Toronto Raptors, Sole Power Productions, Divine Brown, Brian Melo, and a host of independent Canadian artists recording albums, demos, and singles.

In 2007, less than a year out of Humber College’s Jazz Piano program, Kibwe was hired by Insight Productions to join the Canadian Idol house band. During his seasons on the hit TV show, he performed with contestants like Carly Rae Jepsen, and guest artists such as Mariah Carey, Tom Jones and Anne Murray. He has since been musical director for many artists and has performed with major Canadian and international artists including Prince, Nick Carter, Maestro Fresh Wes, Divine Brown, Suzie McNeil, Keisha Chanté and Brian Melo.

While pursuing a successful career on stage, Kibwe developed a passion for music production and engineering. In 2009, recognizing a market for high quality recording on an indie budget, Kibwe built HeavenSound Recording Studio.
