Visionworks 1 Hour Eyewear

So far totally unimpressed by the front staff. My new glasses looked a bit tilted and instead of making it better they made it worse and insisted it wasn’t tilted anymore. TWO staff looked at me straight on and said it was fine. When I get home it’s obvious that one eye is in the centre of the lens and the other is in the upper third of the lens. I come all the way back the next day (Sunday) and the lady seems to have trouble understanding the problem (that the entire arms are bent relative to each other) and that she isn’t very good at doing these types of repairs and to come back on Monday. WTF.

Where to start. This is easily the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. The first «eye doctor» rushed me through an exam and proclaimed a prescription for me to be accurate. I put on the new contacts and protested that I didn’t feel they were correct. He assured me they were and sent me out the door. Back at the office my eyes were on fire, bright red veins forming and severe pain. I called back and went back in the next morning. He re checked my eyes, proclaimed he was right (and refused to admit any wrong doing) and pushed me out the door to try it another day.
Next day, still severe pain. I demanded that the owner of the company come do the eye exam and went in for a THIRD time. He adjusted my prescription slightly and it became bearable after time.
Fast forward: I asked for my prescription, was told they can not email or scan it (is it 1992?). Was told to come in to the store (far from my home) and I can pick it up. Leaving early from work I drive there and am met by two deer-​in-​the-​headlights front desk people. Was then told they cant give me the prescription either and I held back anger. Finally they agreed to have «owner» email it out to me the next day and it would be no problem. «owner» calls and says it will be another $ 30 for an ‘administrative fee’ to receive this form. All I needed was his name, his ‘eye doctor’ registration number, and my prescription, that’s all. He refused and basically tried a hard sell for me to come back in (after I spent 3 – 4 trips there and $ 150 already?).
Overall, amazingly poor service by a greedy company that is all about the dollar. I am sure this review has no inappropriate content, it is an honestly written review about service which I received at this establishment.
