Got my hair done from Mai today, and it turned out amazing! I had my hair done at a different place 3 months ago that charged me $ 600 and ruined my hair! I had my hair box dyed to black and wanted to change it to a platinum blonde ombré and Mai did exactly what I asked for! After showing up to my appointment an hour late she still did the best she could while attending her other appointments. I love what she did with my hair and would definitely go back and recommend her to everyone I know.

She is nice but she ruined my hair and still charged over $ 200 for me to walk away with hair that looked like I did it myself. I have two girlfriends that are extremely unhappy with her as well, we all will not be returning

I HATE what he did to my hair. I asked for a few highlights to match the existing ombré in my hair. billy ended up giving me bleached white hair at the front of my hair and the ombré was a completely different colour. now i have 3 different slid colours in my hair when i asked him to match them. he also left me sitting there un attended while he served another 2 clients which made the bleach eat up my hair and damage it like crazy. will never go back i dont care if you think you’re saving money because you’re not. now I’ve made an appointment at sukis where i know and love for 8:30 am tomorrow morning so no one has to see my hair like this. ended up spending an extra $ 50 at sukis because billy ruined it

Well I was definitely fooled by the instagram photos for Mai.
I thought she would be a professional in her service so i was willing to spend the money.
$ 350 is A LOT and thats her price so you would expect a great experience.
She had other appointments while I was also booked with her, and i actually had to help her blow-​dry my hair. Yes. I blow dried my own hair at a salon where i spent over $ 300. Meanwhile she continued to tell me how bad my haircut was and how dry my hair was (it was not! i hadn’t touched it but i suspect she said this so i didn’t blame her when my hair fell off. which it ended up doing).
I had asked for «sandy beige» highlights with no orange or red, on the ashy side. but i did say sandy beige quite a few times and showed photos of girls with BROWN hair and some lighter ashy highlights. Well… my hair looked like it just got bleached with nothing else on top– like cheap bleach. I came back and i asked her to put a colour over it (she hadn’t listened the first time) and she again didn’t hear me out and put another toner on my hair that made my hair GREY!!!
I had come back saying my hair looked like it was not coloured, and she made my hair grey.
Even more– she gloats that she gives people the hair they want in one session. well there is a reason that most places don’t. YOU are responsible as the expert to tell people how far their hair can go. My hair is not only falling out but it is breaking off all over.
Just AWEFUL service and what pains me is that money went to waste. This was the worst and its going to take months to get normal hair back.
The only thing that would make it better would be a refund but i know she wouldnt think of that based on the lack of customer service with regards to her listening to and giving me what i wanted.

Amy transformed my hair & turned it from brunette to a beautiful ash brown/​blonde balayage. This took almost four hours but I really do love how my hair turned out.
Some cons: Little on the pricey side, and she had booked appointments in between so there were some unnecessary waiting times during the whole process.

Amy fixed my hair. My hair went from orange to ash blonde like i always wanted. Someone who who can handle Asian hair!

This is the worst hair salon I’ve ever been! They treat you and your hair like jokes! Bad attitude and bad skill. Almost tear up after I walked out of this place. Recommend it to no one!!!
