The Beloved Dog

I love how you’re calling me a liar. I called immediately once I was home and left a voicemail. I was called back the next day by the «owner» I think her name was Whitney. She was careless and rude. If you are so shocked by my comment why dont you give me a call? My number is on file.
The service was appalling any my dog now goes to a dog day care that isn’t dirty, the staff are awake and the dogs aren’t yelled at.
A scented candle? How hygienic.

Jarvis absolutely loves this place. It’s funny to see his tail wagging increase in speed the closer we get to The Beloved Dog. The staff is absolutely great! the facilities are clean, and they post cute pictures on their facebook page almost daily (which my high energy dog never seems to pose for because he is so busy playing).
Our guy usually visits the daycare as his breed requires virtually no grooming (I grind his nails myself and he is a non-​shedding, single coated short haired dog). But even while I wait to drop him off or pick him up you can always catch a smile from any of the groomers present. I’ve yet to see a single dog in distress under their care.
They definitely do hold up to their name, The Beloved Dog.

I love this place! I have a 5 year old dog and have taken him to get groomed many times and no one has ever done a good job or what I’ve asked them. He would always come back shaved super short and sometimes uneven. Not only did the Beloved Dog do exactly what I wanted with my dog, they were super friendly and pleasant to talk to! Definitely going back!

We took Kobe (shiba inu) here for his nails to be clipped. First off he hates having his nails clipped, he screams, bites, growls. Everything. We always hear him whimpering when he goes to PetSmart etc. We were recommened The Beloved Dog by a few friends :) The nail person there was so patient with Kobe and did a amazing job! Will go back again soon! thank you again!

I was visiting from out of town for the week and I had to bring my pom in for grooming. My dog isn’t so friendly and takes a little while for her to get use to new people. however bringing her here was the best decision I made (especially from being from out of town), they were so understanding and accommodating with my dog… I was actually so shocked to see Noodle get along with the staff. Stephanie is THE DOG WHISPERER! I will definitely bring Noodle back on my next visit — maybe for some classes next time and I totally recommend this place.

I love this place. I brought my Shiba Inu Sheldon here for doggy day care and I knew he was in good hands. Facility was great and staff was excellent. Really catered to my dogs needs. My dog came back clean and very calm after his bath :) great place for all types of dogs!

I’ve had the opportunity to visit this establishment earlier this month. The staff are very knowledgeable with the different breeds that they encounter and how to properly train the dog’s behaviour in order to maintain a safe and friendly environment. Stephanie and her staff are very passionate about their work and it absolutely shows through their interaction with not only the dogs but also with us as their parents. Thank you to the Beloved Dog for your outstanding professionalism and amazing dog grooming!!! I absolutely recommend THE BELOVED DOG!

This is an incredible day care! I have been bringing my dog here for almost two years now and she absolutely loves it. Lisa is amazing and genuinely loves and cares for the dogs, you can tell by the way she interacts with them. My dog is always excited to get there. Lucky to have this great place in the city! It definitely beats the rest.

We’ve been fortunate enough to have had our dog under the great care of the beloved dog for more than two years now. We couldn’t be happier with their staff, their service and their care for our 13-​year old dog. They are punctual, caring and flexible. Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking for a qualified, trustworthy dog walker.

I had a good experience here. I called Friday afternoon for next day appointment to get my dog groomed. Initially I was booked for 3pm for Saturday. They called me on Saturday around 8am to tell me that they wanted me to bring my dog in for 10:30am. No big deal. They were very apologetic.
I chose this place because it was a lot closer to me to the place I use to take him and reviews here were good too.
I liked that they went over my dog with me on how I wanted him cut. The last place I took him, I was used to letting them do their thing since they were the experts. The haircut my dog was exactly what I asked. Maybe the tail was a bit short but probably my fault as I said needs to be shorter but I should have asked the tail to be trimmed.
My dogs nails were cut at the right length as I feel other groomers don’t cut it short enough and I need to bring my dog back for a nail trim after a month.
Overall, I was happy and will return again!

Awesome. Lisa and her team are amazing I could not ask for more– Not only do they care and truly love the dogs… but they are moral, trustworthy, kind, and great price.
My dog has special needs and i trust him with the beloved dog for weeks at a time. I have used many doggy day cares and doggy boarding in a few city’s and this is the best.
All comes from the top. Lisa (the owner) truly is a spirit here to take care and love dogs:)

I took my Chihuahua/​Spaniel Cross to The Beloved Dog to get a stylish lion cut and couldn’t be happier. The groomer went over all of the areas on my dog that I wanted groomed in great detail so she knew exactly what I wanted which was great. They also finished the cut a good hour ahead of schedule which was also great, I really loved the superman bandana they tied on him too! All in all I am 100% satisfied with the level of service here, they very clearly love what they do and it shows. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a good haircut at a good price for their dog. Thanks guys!

Awesome service! My dog had many matts and the groomer got rid of 97% of the matts in 30 minutes. They were really friendly and my dog looked so much nicer after getting groomed. Not to mention she also smelled like a baby afterwards. Ahhh~~ I’m so happy! My dog looks so cute now!
Btw if you have ever wanted your dog to look like a round fluffy cotton ball, the groomer can definetely do it for you!

Ever since my first visit to The Beloved Dog, they have exceeded my expectations each time.
The staff always remember my name as well as my dogs. They remember what she likes to eat and how she likes to be groomed. Slowly they are carrying more types of food and treats as well as services. The place even smells a lot better now too.
I’m a huge supporter of a family run business and wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else now. Thank you for being so wonderful to us and we’ll see you next month!

The Beloved Dog is fantastic. I have been bringing my dog here for a couple years and have never been disappointed. The are extremely organized in running the business and know their dogs really well. The safety and well being of the dogs is their top priority. I use them regularly for daycare, boarding, and grooming. The facility is really clean and the dogs get regular potty breaks throughout the day (every 30 minutes I think?) via a fenced-​in yard, which is a huge plus. Lisa (the owner) is very hands on and communicates really well with me on how my dog is doing when he’s there. My dog is always thrilled when he knows we’re going to the Beloved Dog.

We were so lucky this was the first doggy daycare we tried. Our dog LOVES it here. They are very careful about who can pick up your dog (which feels great) and about vaccinations — so you know every dog is safe.
Our dog never left and had to go to the bathroom — because she had lots of chances during the day. We’ve run into some of their staff outside work and I can tell how much my dog loves them and how much they care about her, and about the work they do.
This is possibly the closest thing to a real daycare you will get. We’ve moved so we have a new daycare, but we still send our dog back on occasion because she enjoys it so much.

This daycare is excellent.
Though they have a smaller space than many other daycares they provide excellent service and devotion to the dogs in their care.
They provide a safe place for dogs of all sizes and temperments and the staff have real affection for the dogs.
Everyday when you pick up your furbaby you get feedback on how they behaved and what they were up to — and you can see pics of your pup on their facebook page.
My dog has a great time playing at the Beloved Dog and I know she is safe and well cared for.
