Had the coconut taro milk tea, with coconut jelly. $ 4.25, everything was tasty, no muck-ups :) I have a pretty low tolerance for poor service, so I’m glad that my first time turned out alright! No comment on the boba, others have mentioned its too soft and squishy, but I didn’t get to try it. Maybe next time!

Very bad service today. I asked for a Yogurt-Flavored Black Tea, and picked up another drink for my friend. When I came to pick it up, I noticed my drink looked exactly like black tea, without a hint of yogurt. I walked away, thinking perhaps it doesn’t look like yogurt, but had yogurt flavoring added into it. After taking a sip, I confirmed it was just Black Tea. I debated whether to complain or not to my friend, and decided to. When I came back to the stand, the lady who worked there(a mid-aged asian lady), gave me a feeling that she wasn’t going to be pleased. The conversation went like this: me: Hi, is this yogurt black tea? lady: *glares at me* NO, you asked for Black Tea ONLY. me: *surprised* Uh… no, i didn’t. i asked for yogurt black tea. lady: NO, YOUASKEDFORBLACKTEA. me: *stares as her in disbelief* Uhh… NO, I didn’t. I specifically squinted for the yogurt word. I said YOGURT(in Chinese) Black Tea. lady: NO, you said BLACK. me: *gives up* Very bad service. She is basically insinuating that I was trying to get a free drink, or did not like the Black Tea so tried to change it. Did not even try to keep the rudeness out of her tone. Also, she told me what I ordered, when I know what I said. Will NEVER revisit.

The reviews about the staff being totally clueness were spot on haha. The staff are rather disorganized and scramble to get orders together. It’s pretty evident that they don’t really know what they’re doing haha. After someone had ordered, the girl’s eyes bulged out and she said«What is that? I don’t know how to make that!!» Uh oh. I’m glad I stuck with a green milk tea, which is pretty hard to mess up. Lesson: Stick with the basics. Avoid the complicated drinks because they don’t know how to make them.

There were like at least 10 tea places @ Crystal Mall — thought I’d try this one out because it was one of the tea places that did only bubble tea and looked the neatest… the reason for my 2 stars… was because 1. if there are avg of 2 people in waiting line, and about 4 drinks that have to be made, my drink should not take 15 minutes to make — it’s bubble tea for crying out loud ! 2. pearls were all mushy… and not good 3. they literally pour coffee maker into the slush/milk teas… instead of using milk + other healthier alternatives, so watch out. Calorie-wise, it might be more fattening than that fried rice you had for lunch 4. dumb, lost employees. There were 3 people working there… one person took orders, one person made orders, and the other girl just was going back and forth between the two people looking confused(yet busy somehow) and doing nothing. Since I save my 1 star reviews for horrendous experiences(which this one came close to, but at least their bubble tea didn’t make me gag, which stopped me from giving 1 star review), you can go ahead and try your luck with this one … but I’m never going back here, especially with a lot of other options within 10 steps of this place

Usually I don’t really trust tea places inside a foodcourt but Tea Plus was a nice surprise. After looking through the menu, I decided to try the Earl Grey Milk Tea with half sugar. Good thing I went with half sugar too cause that thing was still sweet so definitely request less sugar if you don’t like your drinks too sugary. Very nice earl grey fragrance. They use powered milk for the dairy, and shaken in that crazy shaking machine for quite awhile so it was mixed well. I believe the guy who made my drink fresh brewed my tea, which was pretty cool. Maybe it’s because early grey isn’t as ordered as much so it doesn’t sit in those big gallon jugs. Didn’t opt for any boba/pearl/bubble/whatever the heck everybody calls it nowadays(it’ll always be boba to me) since I wanted to try only the tea but plenty of people were ordering their drinks with it. Also tried a bit of my friend’s Milk Green Tea. Tea flavor was definitely not as strong but that’s to be expected with green tea. Price is reasonable and for a place with so much food, nothing better than it wash it all down with a nice cool tea drink! PS. Did you notice the Nike check logo as part of their logo? LOL

Kiwi Green Tea with pearls! The balls were just the right consistency and the right sweetness. It was delicious!
