Very large store. Not only do they have beautiful bouquets for custom or to go but they have lovely vases and other storage devices to house your lovely bouquet. Store is modest in size with a fresh selection and great customer service.

I ordered flowers for a memorial service and I was extremely impressed by the great job they did. Flowers were very fresh the arrangement was beautiful overall it was a great basket for the price!

This place is, in a word, outstanding. I have been buying flowers from Tala for years and they have yet to disappoint. Their roses in particular are gorgeous, fat, and wrapped with a touch of opulence. I live downtown now, but if I’m looking to seriously impress and personally deliver, I will make the trip out to Burnaby. In a pinch, I have also used their mobile service which is very reasonable. Whether you’re looking for a Valentine’s-Day-esque reaction from your sweetheart or just out to brighten someone’s day, this is the place that will get it done with a great deal of value.

This is a great place to shop for flowers, I was really impressed with the large choice of fresh flowers and roses and the staff is super helpful, was very happy with the way my order has been handled, will be using them again anytime, highly recommended.

This man is a liar and a scammer! If you don’t believe me read the blocked review. They are blocked because HE reported them. I got married last July and unfortunately we used Tala. He told us he will give us a huge discount of we book flower and décor together. I kept asking the final price and he kept saying «don’t worry, you won’t go over budget». At the wedding day I got my bouquet DURING the ceremony !!! Yes I entered the alter with no bouquet in my hand. Later I found out because he booked 2 other weddings that day so he was busy. The table clothes were all wrinkly and had STAIN on them. The worst part was he quote us one thing and charged us something else. We paid over 3 times our budget for a very very crappy job. Please stay away from this disgusting man.

Wow wow wow!!! Tala did our flowers for our wedding this summer and they blew us away. All our guests were blown away as well. We got tons of compliments on our flowers. Check out uploaded picture and see for yourself.
Just give them your colors and budget and they will take care of the rest. Don’t worry about anything else. Rest easy and they will deliver!

After seeing the amazing job they did with my sister-in-law’s wedding, I used them for my wedding. They once again did an amazing job. Since then I use them for all my flower needs. Not only are they friendly but they consistently create beautiful arrangements. Highly recommend them.

Best value for money florist in BC. They did our wedding and I never get flowers from anywhere else since. They do a regular flower delivery to my business now, as well. Give them your budget and you will not be disappointed with what they put together. Arrangements look out of this world!

Most unreliable vendor ever. I don’t want to go into details because I don’t feel they are worth the time, just my advice is stay away if you are looking for decent customer service. The owner left us stranded on the day of our event having disappeared off the face of the planet and not answering calls. I guess since we were using Granville Island Florist for all of our arrangements and just wanted Tala Florist to decorate the car, he didn’t think it was worth his time– just not clear why he wasn’t straight with us to begin with.

I booked Tala Florist for my wedding (which is happening next week!) about 7 months prior to the big day. I recently had my last meeting with them to see my sample centerpiece. Their work is stunning. I almost started crying when I saw the «rough» version of my centerpiece. But above that, the amount of care, and customer service they provided is unbeatable. Hassan and Tina spent almost 2.5hrs with me (after my original consult which was I think 3hrs long) to make sure they understood what I wanted and that I was happy. I felt like such a valued customer and I truly felt that they both cared about my wedding like a family member would. Hassan provided so much valuable insight and has incredible artistic vision. You just have to let him do his thing — he will deliver an amazing product! With so much stress a week before the wedding, I walked away from this appointment feeling relieved and so happy. I know he will deliver exactly what I have asked for.
Hassan and Tina are both extremely generous people and I can’t wait to see the final product on the big day. I would highly recommend them to any bride or any passerby looking for flowers.

I’m in Toronto. A friend in Burnaby was at wits end and needed a serious, serious pick-​me-​up. I didn’t want to go the FTD route. Prices are always high and you don’t get a lot of flower for your bread. I fired up trusty old Unilocal to look for a flower shop local to my friend.
Tala florist seems to have reviews on both ends of the spectrum. I decided to err on Cat D’s reccy. I’ll take the word of an experienced Unilocaler over 1 review drive-​bys.
Anyway, the dozen roses rang in $ 60 with delivery. Quite acceptable. FTD starts at $ 75 for roses. They got her name wrong on the card. I did find there was a bit of a communications problem. Then again, I do mumble and trying to order flowers at work I gotta play all cool and quiet. I don’t want to appear to be some kind of pussy to my male coworkers. You know?
Anyway, they came at the appointed time, delivered without a problem, or tracking mud around.
All ‘n’ all, quite pleased.

I walked in to buy a flower bouquet for my Dr. I originally wanted to buy one from Save on Foods but the person works there was on a break so i drove to this florist and purchased a bouquet.
I told them that i am looking for $ 20 – 30 bouquet. (which is reasonable enough to pay for a decent sized bouquet i believe).
lady who was working there gave me a dirty look… i really didn’t like that… :(
over all i got decent looking bouquet so not much more to complain about but…
since i have a wedding coming up for myself and my sister’s… i am always open to talk to new florists these days but definitley i won’t recommend here.

I am not kinda person who writes reviews but yes i really wanted to let everyone know how this place is like so i ended up signing up to leave this review. that bad their service was.

Phenomenal florist. They do several weddings per weekend and they were able to squeeze us in. I have known them to rush between several weddings in one day — only possible as they are very very organized. Their staff is friendly and helpful. The owner, Hassan, promised he would ‘put his heart into our wedding’ and he totally delivered. I am not one to be impressed easily by flowers but I was SO impressed and all our guests were as well. They did our wedding on November 26^th, 2011 and everyone who saw the floral work was just stunned at how beautiful everything was. My parents couldn’t believe how elegant and tasteful it all looked. They are a premier florist so their work is NOT cheap, yet they worked within our tight budget and made our wedding completely unforgettable. From the ceremony at our church, to the ballroom at the Marriott, and our bridal entourage pieces — he took our breath away with the designs and everything down to the smallest boutonnière was made with so much care. He was also the most fun wedding vendor to work with due to his charm, talent, and knowledge. I live in Richmond and Tala is in Burnaby, but I would not go anywhere else, and I would highly, highly recommend. Yes, he really does do about 300 weddings a year, and each time I came by to see him he had regulars popping in and out to pick up something and chat for awhile. It is obvious his clientele is very loyal. I cannot thank Tala Florist enough for making our Big Day so beautiful. I am so glad I spent the extra money because they are absolutely top-​notch! Because they are so busy, my advice is be very organized when you go to see him, make sure you bring photos of your ideas, ensure you confirm with him, and you won’t be disappointed.
