Established in 1977.

Before there was Solace Home Comfort there was SOLACE Energy Centre, a company started in 1977 by an architect, an engineer and a medical doctor. It was a resource for home owners, designers, and builders alike who needed unique, high quality, energy effecient products for home heating and cooling. Over the years we have evolved while holding onto our tradition of balancing design with economical options and building up scientific principles. A partner in Solace Home Comfort, Mike has been in the hearth industry for over 37 years. At one time or another one of his 4 sons has been helping in the business. In his spare time he helps his wife run their bed and breakfast and in his spare, spare time paints and plays hockey.”
