SC Kim’s Taekwondo is a premier world class martial arts schools in the Lower Mainland and has been a fixture in Burnaby since 1994. We specialize in teaching children and youth of all ages but have comprehensive programs for all age groups and skill levels.

History

Established in 1994.

SC Kim’s Taekwondo has been serving Burnaby and the Lower Mainland for over 20 years and has produced many students who have excelled both in the martial arts and many other facets of their lives. Having practiced Taekwondo for over 35 years, Master Kim’s knowledge and experience in both Korean and Canadian teaching styles have enabled him to bridge the culture gap and utilize the best aspects of both. As a world class top referee, he is often chosen to officiate at world class competitions all over the world including the 2012 London Olympics, the 2014 Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, and many other prestigious events. Respected by his peers and chosen to judge the best in the world, Master Kim knows what it takes to bring out the best in his students and help them reach their maximum potential.
