A couple of things I like about Safeway. they bag your groceries unlike other places without charging 5¢. Their deli has actual yummy hot fresh sandwiches and roast chicken. They also have the Venus fly traps I’ve been looking for. For only $ 7.99 I get those bug eating plants! Ive seen them elsewhere for $ 14.99. They do sell out fast cause it’s a hot item. They offer fresher produce than Iga market place and sometimes Superstore but they’re much more expensive. Funny thing is I dont like their apples. They aren’t as juicy or as sweet as the ones from T&T. I don’t come to this one unless its an emergency or if I’m short on time otherwise there are other groceries markets nearby that I’d rather spend my money at.

This store is a total joke. The whole building, inside and out, is disgusting and in serious need of renovation. Their produce is often bruised or nearly spoiled, the eggs are often broken, and their general selection is extremely lacking. Some of the staff are lovely, but a lot of them are unhelpful and unfriendly, especially the people at the deli. More often than not they try to ignore me, and treat me like I’m an inconvenience. The only reason I still shop here is because I don’t drive, otherwise I would go to the VASTLY superior Safeway down Kingsway.

This Safeway needs a major face lift, both inside and out. The tils are old, no self check ‘s out. I feel like I am in a 70’s time warp. I come here to get tomatoes after my work out since the gym is across the street but I always feel sad inside.

This safeway is a joke. Every other store has been updated to the 21st century except this one. Old tills, no self check outs, alot products unavailable. The owner is obviously a cheap skate

I thought I would pop into today. I am living in the area only briefly. I thought this Safeway was cute, with a modest exterior, no self checkout. I have been choosing Safeway to purchase my groceries but usually using different locations, so today I headed to the deli counter to get my favourite salads first. Looking at the salad, I noticed that one of the ingredients was missing from this list. And this ingredient, well enjoyed by many, cannot be eaten by many others. The ingredient? Bacon. The Broccoli Crunch salad has bacon in it along with raisins. I pointed this out to the sales clerk who said that she will often make note of it to customers who cannot eat pork. I also picked up a couple butter chicken samosas. I would argue that it was not chicken inside. I may bring the other one back because if that is chicken in there it is poor grade. I did see something funny, a pepsi ‘throwback‘pack.( )
