Master Gee has been formally involved in the martial arts over thirty years (since 1979) and my family has been martial artists for four generations. I’ve owned my own school for 30 years and have an ongoing relationship with the owners and instructors of several of the most successful martial arts schools in the North America.

I currently hold an Eighth (Dan) degree black belt and Grand Master title with the Canadian Martial Arts Federation and I am involved daily with students and parents. Please request my free eBook «How to give you and your child a Major Advantage in life,» through martial arts training.

I would recommend this dojo to anyone who values and understands the principals of the Martial Arts. I have noticed positive changes in my child and appreciate the time at the dojo allows the burning off of that excess energy and gives children chances to learn respect, concentration and responsibility. I am shocked by the other reviewer who said the instructors are on a power trip they always treat the kids with respect and support the development of good social behavior in them. As they should they require the kids to return the respect they show by sitting still and listening well in class which are good traits to encourage in a child. The only explanation for the other reviewers comments I can see is that they do not understand or appreciate the tradition and the positive benefits of Martial Arts training.

This family run martial arts school is the best I’ve ever had the privilege to be a part of. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Along with the Tae Kwon Do instructions, there are also Brazilian Ju Jit su classes. The Fight Fit aerobic classes are a great way to stay/get in shape and release stress.
The Tigers class is a perfect way to introduce your children to fitness, respect and a healthy lifestyle.

I was a student at Master Gee’s a number of years ago, and I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend this school to anyone thinking about putting themselves or their children through martial arts training.
Master Gee’s is run by Master and Mrs Gee, a husband-and-wife team that do most of the teaching at the school. They are truly inspirational people –a compliment which I don’t give out lightly. They care very much about their students, and anyone would be lucky to have them as a mentor. Even though it’s been several years since I was a student here and I no longer live in the neighbourhood, I still think very highly of them and I mention this school to people thinking of studying the martial arts.
Master Gee’s has an excellent program for kids, and not only do they teach martial arts/self-defense, but they teach core values such as respect, self-discipline and thoughtfulness. This doesn’t end with the kids program, though. I started as a white belt in my early 20’s, and their adults program teaches the same core values. During this period in my life I was lacking self-confidence, and Master and Mrs Gee helped to instill this in me, along with physical fitness in a fun environment.
For adults who fear they are «too old» to start, Master Gee’s welcomes students of all ages. It’s a very encouraging environment, and I recall people in my classes who were starting out well into their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. Being a blend of different martial arts styles, their training is very effective; a couple times each year they would have a guest ninjitsu grand-master come in from out of town to do seminars. I don’t know if they still do this, but I’d encourage anyone to attend the seminars if they get the chance.
I can’t say enough good things about this school. If you’re even thinking about putting yourself or someone else through martial arts training, I would encourage you to consider Master Gee’s first.
