A community minded organization, Light The Stage Community Arts & Education strives to maintain accessible and affordable programming.

We are committed to ongoing development of curriculum supporting the growth of the whole person, through our offerings of classes, camps, workshops and private/​group lessons which focus on building skills in singing, acting and dance/​creative movement.

While embracing the unique qualities of each individual, we encourage and guide participants in harnessing their personal strengths and inner power. Through guided educational activities and discovery based experiences, Light The Stage supports and encourages creativity and imaginative play in a safe and inclusive, compassionate learning space.

History

Established in 2015.

Light The Stage will be officially launching in 2016 but is featuring some pre-​launch discounts and special offers!

Meet the Business Owner

Jessi N.

Business Owner

Jessi Nicholson is an educator/​performing artist who completed her Bachelor of Music Education (Major: Voice /​Minor: Phys. Ed) in 2001 at the University of Regina and is certified as a Teacher in both Saskatchewan and British Columbia. She has had the good fortune to teach and mentor for many reputable organizations, school districts and community groups and is grateful to have worked with students pre-​school through to the adult/​senior level. Jessi’s skills and training have provided her with opportunities to act as Music Director, Choreographer, Director, Producer, Artist in Residence, Program Developer & Curriculum Builder, Administrator and Grant Writer. She has worked in partnership as a collaborator and has also immersed herself in solo projects. She is currently working toward the 2016 launch of Light The Stage Community Arts & Education.
