I can’t say enough good things about this company. Fast efficient friendly and no slackers here. These guys worked hard and fast with no breaks. Done in less than two hours for a one bedroom condo and up two flights of stairs with no elevator. I’m a frequent mover and these guys are the best movers I’ve ever used.

These guys did and outstanding job. Fair price. They worked hard but we’re very cautious of the walls in my new place. They hauled a queens size bed up 3 floors trough my patio door like it was a routine operation. Highly recommended

Meredith and Jim’s Moving are awesome! I have moved many, many times in the past 15 years and this is my second experience with them… in the future, if Jim’s isn’t available I will change my moving date. From the initial contact for a quote (which was only $ 1.20 more in the end), to the endless questions I had, Meredith was professional, friendly and very flexible. Actual moving day went so smoothly and the two gentlemen dispatched for my job were great. I couldn’t be on-​site for the move but my partner said he was truly impressed with them and that says a lot as he has some issues that make moving an extremely stressful situation for him. Nope, Jim’s was great from start to finish and if you have any doubts — DON’T — you will be handled with the utmost care and professionalism and get a great price!

Unbelievable, I work up north and my wife is disabled I called Jims moving and spoke with Meredith. I explained the situation and we confirmed the move date and time and he assured me there would be nothing to worry about. Well let me tell you they went above and beyond what I am used too they exceeded all expectations. This was the best decision I had ever made. Meredith drove my wife to the new place picked up my daughter and made sure she was OK before going off to work. Don’t make a mistake going some where else go with Jims moving and his impeccable staff you will not regret it.
If I could give 10 stars I would.

FANTASIC service. Jake and Chase were efficient, professional, and very respectful of our belongings. We have moved a few times in the past and this was the easiest move yet due to Jim’s moving. From start to finish Meredith was very responsive and very customer focused.

My friend recommended Jim’s and I thought they were awesome. They arrived right on time and were efficient and friendly. I had stupidly not realized that my bed wouldn’t fit through the door until the AM of my move, so I was stressing about that. But one of the movers assured me it was easily taken care of, grabbed some power tools and took it apart for me in minutes.
They unloaded everything in great time at the other place, even asking me before they left if I wanted anything moved around. I really hope I don’t have to move for awhile, but if I do I would definitely use them. And would recommend them for the most stress-​free moving experience you can get.

First class. Highest recommendation. From start to finish, the folks at Jim’s are honest, courteous and up front.
Moving is incredibly stressful. Having a fast, efficient mover is great, but from past experience, I know that a good attitude is also critical to keeping the stress level down. The folks at Jim’s were exceedingly polite and made us feel like our stuff was in good hands. They are also upfront when moving a certain item is out of their comfort zone.

I hired Jim’s Moving after already having hired and fired another company due to their dishonest/​misleading pricing. I am
not a demanding person, but I have no patience for BS.
Meredith and Tyler from Jim’s did my move and I was 100% satisfied with their work. They were polite, punctual and worked at a steady pace. All my belongings arrived in the same condition as they were when they were picked up. The cost of the move was reasonable, and true to their website’s claim, there were no hidden fees.
I would have no problem recommending Jim’s Moving to handle your move.

A+++!! I hate moving with a passion, having said that: Jims moving is the ONLY positive experience I’ve had doing this. Meredith&co were top notch. On time and on budget with my furniture undamaged you say? YES! These guys kick ass. My massive couch didn’t fit in the elevator so they brought it up four flights of stairs no problems. THAT“S SERVICE. And with a smile.

I’ve seriously meant to write this for a year, but I have a toddler so I can’t be held responsible ;) It’s literally a year, so happy anniversary!
I went with this company because of the Unilocal reviews and was not disappointed. It was a big move from Vancouver to the wilds of Lake Errock (don’t come here, it’s terrible and unpopulated, just the way we like it), so a good two hour drive with a big truck, and we needed to move on the 1st of the month. Meredith was totally awesome about all of it, gave us a quote with a range and ended up charging us on the cheaper side!
Meredith was amazing. Him and his guy were speedy, but careful, chatty and friendly, but not irritating. They worked so so hard. Honestly, these guys were professional as hell. I’ve since recommended them to any friends that have moved, but here’s the online one I promised myself I’d write. So yes, even a year later, I think of the work they did for our family and am impressed.

This was our first time hiring movers, so I was a little nervous. But Jims Moving did an awesome job! They took great care of all our antique furniture, which I was most concerned about, and were super friendly and accommodating. All the stairs going in and out of our 3rd floor attic suite didn’t slow them down at all, which was pretty impressive. In the end it only took 3 hours to move our 1 bedroom suite to our new location. The cost was well worth it!

Jim’s Moving, and specifically Meredith, is a god send. They helped us move a 2 bedroom townhouse from East Vancouver to a house in Burnaby. Meredith and Andrew were awesome! They were upbeat, friendly, careful with our stuff, and great to work with. Meredith knew we were on a tight budget, and worked with us to ensure that our move was on budget. They moved all our furniture in 5.5 hours. Their rates are excellent and their customer service is 10 stars. Thanks Meredith!!!
