Tried this place for the first time ever with my sister and the food was so good. Best breakfast I have had in a long time. The service was awesome and the restaurant was clean. Will recommend you try it for yourself.

I have been going to this location for years now. Service is OK and really depends on the server. No consistency there. IHOP really needs to review its menu and make it more exciting. Their pancakes are long due for a shake up.

Our server was great. But when she got off her shift she said that we would be taken care of the other two servers. We were trying to get their attention for at least ten minutes until the manager came out to see how was everything was going and got the carafe herself. A little disappointing to be fishing for them because our lunch was perfect.

This place is near where im working so often after night shift myself and other nurses go here for some breakfast Big place with huge parking lot, neat, typical american breakfast place… busy when we came people starting coming in but still we had a good spot by the window… Wifi free, wash room clean and service isnt bad… We had different kind of break fast mostly with pancakes… we had samplers aswell that goes very good with the hot sauce… coffee tea etc competitive pricing… just like the other break fast heaven around. what ever in the menu is available allday… Good for group.kids.and family… accept card and cash. noise level cant really gauge at that time because we were noisy… Quality of food is good well how can you rate eggs and bacon and sausages… they all taste thesame anywhere… Some of the syrup container in our table is caput… filled with delicious syrup but you cant open the lid… so no use at all… Not a bad place to enjoy american breakfast…

Super busy, but they do things quickly so customers aren’t waiting too long. The quality of food is not very good. I just remember IHOP being so much better. I don’t know what happened. The restaurant is a bit run down, and the bathrooms just smell so bad! Probably won’t ever come back here again, but it is a busy establishment regardless so they won’t be missing me. Pancakes — fluffy but tasteless. Eggs — tasteless. Coffee — horrible. You get the idea…

IHOP is a little treat once in a while. I like their omelettes and simple breakfasts. The hashbrowns are always delicious too. Surprisingly their coffee is kind of addictive. However, for being the International House Of Pancakes… I do not like the pancakes. I mean I LOVE pancakes, but these things are a bit of a let down, mainly because of the name of the place. Other than that. The staff are quite nice and the breakfasts are great.

I eat here almost every Sunday for brunch. I think I have only had one meal that I was not very pleased with. Otherwise the food has been pretty great. Some of the servers are lacking… overall the pancakes are a win for the price and I can always eat off the fit fare menu which has always been great.

I have been coming to this IHOP for breakfast with my family for years! The breakfast menu is exactly what you’d expect from a family restaurant chain like this. The service is great! There when you need them, never hovering… Always willing to make substitutions for you! I will definitely keep coming to this location and recommend it for your next family breakfast outing!

Every so often, my friend and I head over to the Metrotown IHOP. There isn’t anything special about IHOP or the food, but it’s close to home, and it always satisfies our random evening cravings for pancakes and omelettes. We had such a craving the other day, and I was extremely impressed with my experience that night. My friend and I arrived just before 7pm on Saturday June 28th, and while we didn’t have to wait an excessively long time to be greeted and seated, we noticed that we did have to wait longer than usual. It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed(and we were later told there was an influx of people in a short period of time right before we arrived), so we waited patiently for a server to take our order. However, I am hypoglycemic, and my blood sugar was rapidly and dangerously dropping, and after waiting for about ten minutes(I know it was well over five minutes) without anyone coming to our table, I couldn’t wait any longer.(I know that it’s my responsibility to keep my blood sugar up, but sometimes you just miscalculate, and shit happens.) Weak with hunger, I stumbled over to the kitchen area to try and track down an employee. I caught the attention of an employee, Trevor, and said that we had been waiting a long time, and I really needed to eat soon as my blood sugar was dropping. He replied, «I can have your side of hashbrowns served to you right away!» And to the kitchen staff he said, «Did you get that? Prepare a side of hashbrowns right away!» Minutes later, my side of hashbrowns were served.(It was maybe about five more minutes until a server was able to take our order, but I was happy and now able to patiently wait, as my blood sugar levels were now at a safe level.) Even though my friend and I had not yet ordered(a server hadn’t even come by at that point to ask if we wanted water or coffee), I was going to order an omelette with a side of hashbrowns, as usual. The reason why Trevor was able to read my mind was a while ago(a month ago?) the same thing happened. My blood sugar dropped to a dangerously low level, and while we didn’t have to wait a long time for a server to take our order, when we ordered, I asked if my side of hashbrowns could come as soon as possible. So Trevor had remembered me and that incident, and as I was paying my bill and thanking him, he told me that he had some diabetic family members who have blood sugar crashes, so he understands the importance of having to eat NOW. I REALLY appreciate the wonderful(and life-saving) service that Trevor provided. Thank you.

Sometimes you just need the job done! Stopped in for a quick diner dinner. Service is friendly and fast, and I must say I love the dim lighting in here. Yes I sound 80 in this review! haha. I avoid the coffee like the plague here, safer with tea! Chicken and waffles for 9 dollars? Yes please!

My BF and I have a brunch dilemma: I prefer Denny’s because they have Eggs Benny, but BF prefers IHOP for the double-blueberry pancakes. Well, we recently went to IHOP and I was ecstatic to see Eggs Benny on the menu! Did I miss that every time before? It was a super basic one with just ham, egg, and hollandaise. So I subbed spinach instead of ham, and then added tomatoes(2 slices of tomato for $ 1.49). Yes, the subbing for vegetarian things was probably a rip-off, but I was really craving eggs benny, and the server was awesome about it. IHOP is definitely a no-frills breakfast joint, but the servers are nice.

I’ve always liked Ihop. Comfort food at its simplest. You come in without a lot of expectations, and leave satisfied. The service at this IHOP is surprisingly great especially considering that it’s a chain restaurant! The waitresses came back to check on me twice! I had: Strawberry Banana French Toast 4⁄5 stars Can you say INDULGENT? This thing clocks in at over 880 calories! Good thing I don’t count my calories haha. It came with 6 pieces of french toast, and guess what, I managed to polish it all off! Yes, every.last.drop. It was worth it. The french toast was buttery, fluffy and moist. The strawberry jam had lots of whole strawberry chunks. The whip cream on top wasn’t that sweet, which I really appreciated. Chocolate Mocha 4⁄5 stars Mmm this was really good! The mocha was indeed very chocoately, with a deep robust flavour. The marshmellow cream on top was pillowly, sweet and creamy.

Always get the Colorado omelette when I come here! Very tasty and always consistent. I really like the bottomless coffee too. Beats Denny’s any day.

You can’t go wrong with IHOP,. This is the one closest to my house so we go there most times. On the weekend it is always packed though. I don’t mind, but the longest we have waited is maybe 20 min.

It’s IHOP, you know what you’re getting. Was there for lunch. Was seated immediately. Three stars for the food plus an extra for service. Daniel was our server, cool guy. Friendly hostess and manager dude.

I only come to IHOP to eat Breakfast items ’cause that is all one should be doing when coming to IHOP. All other menu items look scary. It’s standard breakfast menu items in a setting that looks like a seniors hang out. Prices are still slightly higher than Denny’s but good for what you get. I favor this location more since it is closer to home.

Again, for a quickie breakfast, make your way here! Not too shabby when you can’t make it to a place like Café Medina or White Spot for waffles!

One good thing about this location is the vicinity to Metrotown and/or the surrounding pubs. Drink your beer(don’t ever drive in Vancouver with over 0.05% alcohol in your blood stream — ie less than one beer– ’cause if you get caught, say goodbye to your car) all night, then hop to IHOP for breakfast. The 7 – 11 is also next door for that Big Gulp to sooth that tummy if you don’t want that breakfast. This time however, I was not smashed. I came in sober wanting a healthy meal. I think I went over board. I tried their Simple and Fit scrambled eggs substitute, two bacon strips and two pancakes. I don’t know… I should have stuck to the regular heart-attack special. I’m sure I’m now Simpler and Fitter, but that was too bland for my taste. IHOP is a step above a greasy spoon restaurant with a huge menu of pancakes. Next time it is going to be back to aeortal clogging pancakes for me.
