This place use to be way better, my husband and I use to order from here all the time and never thought about writing a review until we ordered from here a few days ago… the food was just okay… the fried rice and fried noodles were waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay over soy-sauced, the sweet and sour pork was very different, it seemed like they are using cheap sauce they bought at the wholesale club, but the beef chop suey was good. They do stay pretty busy but one of the older gentleman is very rude on the phone. I’ve had to deal with him once over the phone, he tends to rush you and pretends that he’s busy cooking… I saw this for the first time in person, he was on the phone with a customer and was very rude, stating he was busy cooking his order and kept yelling«OOKKAAAAAYYY???» as if the customer was too stupid to understand what he was trying to say. I’m not sure if it is the same owners or not but the lady and gentleman that I remember, don’t seem to be around anymore. Bad customer service is bad for business… especially if your food is not consistent, and by the looks of it, it was not as busy as he was claiming it was, when he was on the phone, yelling at his own customers.

Probably the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Not first choice but last choice. Ordered delivery from our hotel room and it took about 45minutes to get here. The rice tasted burnt and the rest just bad. Couldn’t eat it so it went outside our room to get rid of the smell. Stay far away from this choice.

I’ve tried most of the Chinese restaurants around Burnaby and this one was probably the worst. My order came in a thin plastic bag with a puddle of black bean sauce on the bottom of it from my chicken. The taste and texture of the mapo tofu was so off that I couldn’t even finish it. This is a huge red flag as mapo tofu is usually a signature dish in Chinese restaurants. Don’t waste your money at this place.

This is the first and only time we’ll order takeout from this place. The chow mein was super dried out, the almond chicken was over-cooked and covered in crushed saltine crackers, the spring rolls tasted funky and there was barely any filling in them. The only redeeming item was the won ton soup and the fortune cookies. This was by far, the blandest Chinese food I’ve ever had. If a white person tells you your ethnic food is bland, you have problems.

I’ve ordered from here 4 or 5 times and every time it has been consistently everything you would want out of a traditional Chinese Canadian delivery restaurant. I’ve ordered quite a few things on the menu(honey garlic ribs, mushroom chow mein, almond chicken and garlic gai lan to name a few) and all has been very yummy and awesome for leftovers. They’re super friendly and pretty sure family owned and operated. The prices are very reasonable and they have fast delivery times too. I’d actually give them a five star save one detail; The wonton soup was awful. The broth is blandy mcblanderson and the wontons were creepy little balls of yuck. I was stoked the first time I ordered and found out they didn’t have shrimp in this soup, as is often the case(seafood allergy). But it was hugely disappointing, especially in light of everything else being so good. It was seriously, that bad. So if they manage to change up that soup to something even half decent, I would easily boost this to a five star rating as everything else meet or beat expectations.

respectable 3.5 stars. designed more for takeout, they do have 4 tables too. Bright store w/big windows, limited eye candy action here anyways. Honey garlic spareribs: nicely deep fried, not overly. 10% off for pickup. metered parking in front, accepts all cards.

It’s always nice when you actually find a good Chinese takeout. I love that this place is family owned/operated. I love being able to support local business. The food is top quality takeout… and they don’t cheap out. We get an order for one(around $ 10), and that feeds us both for dinner! They’re fast too… you can pick up 10 mins after you call. If you’re in the Edmonds area… this is your spot!

If you want fresh, fast and cheap… go here. They are awesome. A small little hole in the wall family run. Always fresh stirfried veggies. I highly recommend the Szechuan Beef, it is definitely yummy and the Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls with Pineapple are pretty darn good too. Where else can you get two full sized containers for 16 $ and you get 10% off if you go pick it up yourself. Everyone I know also loves this little known gem. So if you love Chinese food like most of us do go here! You will love it.
