The lady and man that run this place do an amazing job. I have not had to drop off laundry for years, and I did it today after reading some reviews from this place. My clothes — 4 loads — were done within 2 hours and as someone else indicated below, the folding was amazing. I was so happy I actually phoned them to thank them. What a great experience! Pride at the laundromat. Love it!

Very Great place run by a very nice man and his wife. Been going there for over a year and have never been disappointed. I get them to wash and fold my laundry and it is always clean and folded with pride. By evaluating the cleanliness of this place compared to other laundry mats in South Burnaby, you can really tell that these people take pride in their business. They are always friendly and happy to help you no matter how rushed you are or how much laundry you have for them. It’s a pleasure to deal with these people.

Super friendly staff, husband and wife operate it. It was decent enough to go and get your laundry done and wait(maybe grab a bite to eat next door?) but… Wait. They offer to do your laundry for you?! I never knew how awesome this was until you are at a crunch time and need your laundry done while you do errands. They wash, dry and fold your laundry INSECTIONS. so all my underwear was together, all my socks, pajamas, etc. it was blissful! While I don’t miss the concept of a laundromat, I do miss someone else washing and folding my clothes perfectly for me.(I’ve moved away from the area now).

Clean laundromat with plenty of machines. BUT… I prefer the laundry service they offer! I’d always though, «how lazy can you be?!» when I heard people talk about dropping off their laundry somewhere that it would get washed for them and folded. However, when I found myself renting an apartment that did not have a washer and dryer and having to spend time sitting around while I waited for the laundry at the laundromat, I reconsidered. I figured that a service that took care of your laundry for you would be pretty expensive. Au contraire! At Edmonds I barely paid more than I would have to wash and dry it myself(considering the sorting — so multiple loads — and the cost of detergent and softener). The husband and wife team that owns and runs this place will take your dirty laundry off your hands, wash it, fold it, and get it back to you by the next day. They are great. It’s weighed and you pay when you pick it up. Cash only. The time and energy I saved not having to do the laundry kept me loyal to Edmonds. The reason it doesn’t get 4 stars from me… On three occasions I found items damaged. Really — I should not have sent them sweaters or other delicate things but whatever, it was my fault. I would have appreciated though if they’d told me of the damage rather than folding the items as usual and I only would find out when I pulled them out of the drawer to wear. That sucked. Also I was sometimes curious about the charges. LOL! Sometimes I’d pay $ 18 when I gave them three baskets full of laundry and $ 20 when I gave them just one. Nonetheless my monthly laundry bill was never too bad and I was a loyal customer for the nine months I lived in New West for. :)
