David Gray Park – Off Leash Enclosure

One of the worst dog parks I have ever been to. Muddy and gross. Some dog owners were very irrepsonsible, the minute we went into the dog park 2 dogs ran at us and were jumping all over us and no dog owner came to get their dogs to stop from jumping. A couple of dogs were nipping at my dog’s ear and no owner came to stop them. Owners were standing around talking to each other and not paying attention to their dogs. Never been in such an environment full of irresponsible dog owners. Will never come to this dog park again. Would give zero stars if I could.

Great place to exercise and socialize your dog. I took my 4 month old pug here and he loved it. He Got along with all the other dogs really well

This is a great place to take a young dog. My dog is learning how to play with other dogs And be off leash. Thanks to the double door fences I don’t have to worry about him running on to the street. I don’t go often because it is a bit of a drive, but thanks to the practice he’s getting here i can start taking him to dog parks closer to home.

Love this dog park!!! Found it on Unilocal actually because I was looking for a fully fences in safe park for charlie. I must say though, your dogs will get dirty as the mulch is old, and the dogs do play around with each other. There’s also quite a few dig up holes that no one has filled in so some dogs either continue to make them bigger, or some dog owners have placed some old lawn chairs to keep the dogs away from the holes.
Everyone is super friendly, but since it’s winter the city turns off the fountain at the park, so please remember to bring water for your dogs! A lot of the owners bring a big milk jug of water cause there are water bowls there. Some leave the jugs behind because they still have water in them for he owners who forget to bring water to for new dog owners who may not know.
It’s a great and safe place for dogs to run around!

It’s a big, clean, well fenced dog park with no muddy puddles.

Still come here a lot, but over the summer the city decided to grind down tree stumps to «mulch» in this dog park. It does help with the mud/​flooding but since it’s not large actual mulch bits, we’ve had to pull so many slivers and shards out of our dogs paws. thumbs down.

Finally a fenced dog park in the south slopes!
I have been searching for a fenced dog park near my house. There are none in the south-​ish slopes of Vancouver, and since this is in Burnaby and only 10 minutes away from my house– this one wins!!!
There’s plenty of space for dogs to roam, two gates to get in, and lots and lots of dogs so your little one can play. My little guy loved this park and was passing out in the car!

Just got back from visiting David Grey park after seeing two others this weekend and it’s by far the nicest.
The park was well fenced and I had no worries about letting our dog take off as she liked. The enclosure was large enough to facilitate the other 40 shiba inus running full tilt and playing. What was surprising besides the herd of Shibas was that,
the ground was dry despite the rains throughout the week.
I’m a fan and will certainly be coming back here regularly.

My crazy dog will take off into the street and get hit by a car if there wasn’t a fence to stop her.
I absolutely LOVE this park. It’s not the closest one to my house but it definitely has a fence and its worth the drive to know that my pup will be safe!
Been going here for the past few months and I’ve met many really nice people who are very good with their dog (s). I usually find that if a dog is being a bit too aggressive other owners will step in if needed but the dogs owners are pretty good about it.
There is a little water fountain with bowls for the dogs but a reminder for alll new people to not pour the dirty water from the bowls onto the dirt… the foundation is getting soft, but to pour it onto the grass instead.
It is quite well maintained. haven’t stepped in dog poop yet!

It’s a HUGE fenced-​in well maintained dog park near Imperial between Boundary and Nelson in Burnaby. No astroturf that I’ve seen in some better dog parks but nice and clean nevertheless. A great place for your dogs to run to their hearts’ content in this park. Another plus for the size is that it gives dogs the space they need without causing any spacial and close-​quarter conflicts.
I usually visit the park with my dog once a month. If it weren’t because I have to drive there from where I live, I would have visited it more frequently.
