Danzmode provides superior dance training through outstanding teachers, choreographers and guest artists. We offer a wide variety of professional disciplines to dancers age three and up including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Stage, Acro and Hip Hop. Danzmode has a competitive division and a recreational division. Our competitive companies include Mini Company, Junior Company, Intermediate Company, Senior Company and Performance Group (Semi-​Professional).

Danzmode Productions will challenge any dancer regardless of their skill level.

History

Established in 1994.

Founded in 1994 by Rachael Poirier, Danzmode Productions quickly established itself as one of Vancouver’s elite dance establishments. For going on two decades, Danzmode’s dancers have had a dominant presence at local and international competitions and shows. Many of our dancers moved on to professional dance careers and work with artists such as Janet Jackson, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Beyonce, Mia Michaels, and Jennifer Lopez. Several of our graduates have been seen in the Top 40 for So You Think You Can Dance. Others have moved on to dance for prestigious Academies and Companies including the San Francisco Ballet, Washington D.C. Ballet Company, Alvin Ailey and the National Ballet of Canada.
