I am content and have accepted the fact that not all protein or health bars should taste good, however, there is a fine line with personal taste standards, especially if I am supposed to finish an 72g bar. I bought two of these bars for my best friend and I before a concert during the week to eat after the show. Neither of us could finish the bar. In fact we were being overly insistent with the other to finish the rest. I bought the cookies and cream flavor. You would think that something that is supposed to be flavored as cookies and cream would be good right? This tasted like stale cookie chalk. It was dipped in white chocolate that got all over your fingers to the touch. When I liked the white chocolate off my fingers, that alone tasted horrible. The only plus point with this is that it is 20g of protein which helped, however, you need to drink A LOT of water to actually like and appreciate this. The sad thing is that this bar has 31g of sugar!!! Seriously WTF? Shouldn’t the sugar make it taste better? Well clearly it didn’t help in this case. Waste of money… even on sale.
