I normally never go into Bebe, however, I was on a mission to buy some work clothes as well as some clothes, a dress, for a wedding I am attending in the September. The fashions did little for me, however, I did find a silver pair of jeans, like the kind Billy Corgan wore in the 90’s with the zero shirt. I am not convinced yet that $ 150 plus tax is worth it for a one off, however, the concept and idea was cool. The guy in the store was very friendly and helpful. He was patient in answering my questions.

I had a good laugh at Claudia’s review. Yeah, it’s so true, but when I’m with someone who really likes it here, I try to steer her into something that they have that is a bit more mature, yet playfull. I truthfully don’t think their quality is really worth what you pay for. Case in point a top we were looking at had a hole in the shoulder, but it was the only piece left. And it was something that I suggested she try and would like, but nothing she would ever have worn if it wasn’t for me.(trust me her clothing style would match a tacky Moschini belt buckle and a blast sheild from Korea). We tried to get a discount, but nothing much more than 10%. Their staff was quite useless being the automatons that they were and couldn’t event talk to manager who would be willing to make a deal Chinese style. «lookee! Here have hole. not good. Why pay full price? Nobody want to pay for broken. I pay you $ 20.» was our uneffective retort. They did do one good thing and that was direct us back to the downtown location where we ended up getting what she wanted and I «very muchy likey!» One thing I have to say, is that daughter doesn’t even like to shop here, so that in a way does directly imply what Claudia wrote. However, there are some good finds there, but you have to look hard and know how to mix and match!(not bad coming from a tshirt and jeans kinda guy eh?)
