Recently I had the pleasure of Gabrielle Gendron answering my phone call regarding travel insurance. I hadn’t bought such insurance for years so I needed a refresher course. I’m not a spring-​thinking-​chicken anymore either, so I required someone who was patient to explain aspects of the insurance in sometimes three different ways. I needed someone who was capable of articulately conveying her knowledge to gently educate me in what everything meant.
Gabrielle was indeed the perfect advisor. Cheerful. Bright. Warm. Funny. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Patient.
I hope BCAA knows they have a very valuable staff member in Gabrielle, and that she is indeed a major asset to BCAA.
It would be in BCAA’s best interest to keep Gabrielle on staff for as long as possible.

On previous calls i received great technicians and service. not only changed a flat but inspected the puncture, explained why he could not repair it as it was a side wall puncture. He said if a centre puncture he could repair it on the spot. made my wait worthwhile.
However today it was a technician who chucks his company’s tools and equipment, assigned to his use and care, out of his company’s truck, on to the pavement. He clearly saw the nail in the centre of the tire and insisted he couldn’t diagnosis the cause of the flat. Then complained that the lug nuts were overly tight. threw those also onto the pavement, so now they have scratches. I asked him why he didn’t use his powered tools to unscrew the lugs, he responds that his compressor is not working. Now why would BCAA send out someone who doesn’t have working compressor on a flat tire call? Finally, the tech didn’t put the flat in the car, just left it on the pavement… I waited for one and a half hours for this crappy service. A real ‘miss’.

Seriously recommended if you are restoring a project car and taking it out for a test and tune. They’ve saved me twice in a year and I’ve never had to wait more than an hour. I talked to one of the drivers and they were ex mechanics! As Bridget mentioned, it’s exactly like having a friend with a tow truck. I’d seriously recommend buying this service if you drive an older car. Even the basic membership is really cheap insurance against needing a tow!

I have had a membership for 10 years and have at least needed them once every year for various situations and they have always pulled through. If you’re a member the rates are very reasonable and the service has always been friendly, especially in a stressful situation. I find that sometimes the guys know more than the mechanics themselves. Thanks for 10 years of consistent service in tough situations.

wanted to review BCAA because I have been using them for 2 years. I am a new driver and having BCAA is like having a friend with a tow truck. I have never had to wait more than 30 – 60 minutes. The drivers are always friendly and professional. I never worry when I am on the road because I know I have BCAA. This is one of the wisest purchases you can make for you and your car.
