Specialties
We specialize in offering freshly harvested loose leaf teas grown without the use of synthetic pesticides and fertilizers. We actually grow most of the teas we sell in our family’s own tea gardens, located in the eastern foothills of the Himalayas in a region called Assam.
In our certified-organic facility in Burnaby we design delicious blends using only botanical extracts without any synthetic preservatives and solvents. All the tea and herbal blends we sell are designed in-house, and blended in micro batches at our own warehouse.
We specialize in sourcing locally grown organic herbs including organic chamomile, organic peppermint, organic spearmint and more.
As fourth generation tea farmers, we are committed to only offering the freshest teas to our clients. We sell teas only up to 18 months from date of harvest, and we sell blends only up to 90 days from date of manufacture.
If you enjoy Earl Grey, Chai, Pure Black Teas, Breakfast Teas & more… you will like what we have!
History
Established in 2000.
We started our tea company in St. Petersburg, Florida, with the idea of helping our parents market their tea harvest in North America.
In 2004 we opened an organic-certified warehouse facility and started selling directly to specialty tea retailers and coffee shops locally, and also to tea drinkers through the internet. In 2008 we immigrated to beautiful British Columbia.
We love introducing local retailers like tea and coffee shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as loose tea lovers to freshly harvested, and authentically certified, organic teas.
Meet the Business Owner
Saunam B.
Business Owner
I have a bachelor’s degree in business, and masters in business and project management. While in college I joined the mortgage industry and ran my own mortgage business for 8 years before transitioning into a full time tea promoter.
I find there is a disconnect between the tea farmers, tea retailers, and the tea drinkers. My job is to help both tea retailers and tea drinkers cut through the marketspeak and discover the real flavor of freshly harvested teas.
