This is a local favourite of ours for a quick pub fare meal. The Jury has a warm atmosphere with friendly servers and the bathrooms are always clean(I always feel this is an important feature of a restaurant!) Definitely recommend this for a great meal at reasonable prices!

Good traditional fish and chips. Excellent, friendly service. The place is always busy, and the«legal» décor is fun. I wish they had a veggie burger. Still, this is a nice, warm, neighbourhood spot to drop in for a casual meal with family or friends.

Great owner with a good staff. if you want a great meal without paying through the nose, this is the place. I stop there some time if I don’t feel like cooking at home and I’m never disappointed. Was reading the first comment… lol. Lindy as a great personality and not only values her work, but also values her friendships. The owner, Andy cares about about his customers and he is a nice guy to chat with… This place reminds me of Cheers. Great environment.

This place always seems to be busy. There’s never a time I’ve gone there and it has been slow or quiet. It has many regulars which is evident by the friendly chatter between the customers and wait staff. I ordered a glass of white wine and I quite impressed. Rarely find good wine at a pub! They have all the pub classics — curry, shepherd’s pie, burgers, wings, fish & chips, etc. I’ve tried the wings and burger and have enjoyed both. I ordered vegetables with my burger and was happy to find that they were not soggy, but crisp and seasonal. It can be loud, but only because it’s so busy. It’s great place if you’re looking for a pint and a good hearty meal with friendly staff.

My wife and I have found ourselves going to this Pub at least once a week sometimes more. We usually order the same thing every time. I get the fish and chips and she orders chicken spanikopita. We also take advantage of the happy hour drink specials. A pint of Coors Light for 5 bucks. The food is always delivered fast and the portions are generous. I highly recommend Judge and Jury!

Ordered wings, nachos, and hung jury salad. You can tell that a lot of regulars frequent the place based on the chatter between the wait staff and customers. Wings were big and tasty although oddly market priced as though chicken is subject to volatile market fluctuation? Food was good and worth another visit to sample their other menu options. Service was quick and friendly.

Probably my second favourite pub in Burlington. The burgers are good(sometimes can be on the dry side and they often don’t toast their bun which is a big pet peeve of mine) and their fries are addictive. They are quite popular so the wait can be a bit long and it does get very loud.

I had a meeting this morning in Hamilton and stopped off for lunch on my way back to Toronto at the Judge & Jury in Burlington. It’s been a while since I was there. It was busy so I sat in the bar area. I always get wings and with a side order of mac ‘n cheese there. Alas, the mac ‘n cheese was taken off the menu about six months ago. So instead I got a half order of garlic bread with cheese and wings with medium sauce. The garlic bread was soooooo good … the bread was crusty but soft and the cheese was gooey. The wings were good too! Franca was my server and she took excellent care of me. She was friendly and helpful!

This was a run-of-the-mill«Irish» pub. The food was the same crap every«Irish» pub serves. The best thing I can say about this place is: The Waitress had great tits…

The service at this pub is friendly and it’s a nice, clean place with a comfortable feel to it. I’ve eaten here twice and both times it was obvious that the food was frozen and deep-fried. There’s nothing particularly wrong with that, per se, but it’s worth knowing going in. The first time I was there I had wings that were just flash-fried with sauce poured on afterwards(i.e. the sauce essentially slid off the wings and was not cooked into the meat). Tonight I had a chicken sandwich and wanted to get mashed potatoes instead of fries. I asked if the potatoes were real or instant and the response was«they’re brought in.» I can understand certain components of pub fare being frozen and brought in but how hard is it to peel potatoes and mash them on the premises? I don’t want to sound too harsh because it’s basically a nice place but I just wish they served food that wasn’t just breaded, frozen, and made by McCain.

** READTHISAMERICANTRAVELERS ** I think I ate here 7 out of 10 nights for a business trip to Burlington. Highly recommended for americans to eat at. Guiness on Tap. Jameson is hit or miss. They no longer serve pizza here. Fish and chips are so so, fish is extremely bland. Butter chicken is very good and they have great samosas. All the pasta is good here, and even though it says spicy, it is not.

Teena and I hit the Judge and Jury after snowshoeing at Crawford Lake. We had no idea what to expect as we just found it from our GPS. We were happy to discover a very cozy pub. I ordered fish and chips but substituted onion rings for the chips. Also ordered their Mac and Cheese as a side dish. The food was fabulous and very well priced. 2 pieces of fish with the onion rings were $ 10. The Mac and Cheese was the best I ever had. A must order when you go. Our meals, 2 beer each and a coffee was $ 60. Kim was an excellent server too. She looked after us well and had lots of personality. Lots of beers on tap but nothing exciting. If they had some craft beer on tap, then they would have got the 5th star! Worth hitting if you are in the Burlington area.

Nice pub atmosphere, good selection of draft beer, good food and pretty good service. If you like mostly authentic English pubs, you should like this one. I’ll be back.
