History
Established in 1955.
Mac decided to move to Canada when he was 20 years old. His father was a successful insurance broker in the Netherlands so Mac decided to sell insurance throughout Southern Ontario. Many Dutch immigrants called Mac as soon as they got their first car in Canada. Some of our initial group of clients are still insured with us now. Times have changed, but our values have not.
The business grew and now we protect thousands of people throughout Ontario. We are still helping newcomers to Canada. Some of our staff speak Serbian, Croatian and Spanish. Why not give us a try and join our family of clients!

I grew up in Burlington and then completed my Honors Business Administration degree at the Ivey School of Business at Western University in London, Ontario. I have worked in the insurance business since 1987 and love it. My father, grandfather and father in law were all in the insurance business. The protection of people is important to our family and our team of brokers at Mac Vanderhout Insurance Brokers Limited.
